Okay so I am 7 months postpartum after a 40 week stillbirth. We are TTC, but my cycle has been really crazy since the delivery, I can't predict when or if I am ovulating. Last month I had to take Provera to bring on a period. I did BBT this month as well as ovulation strips, both were inconclusive as to ovulation. My GYN is set to put me on Clomid November 30. I am on cycle day 38 now (about 5 days later than what my "regular cycle" before pregnancy.

I thought that I didn't ovulate again this month, however just for the heck of it I just did a First Response test with 2nd morning urine. Before the 10 min mark, I have a very very very faint pink mark on the test line. It's about 1/3 of the actual test line, but very faint. I am trying not to get too excited........also trying not to waste more money peeing on things, because it's an expensive habit!!!!

Please give me some advice on personal experience, what does this mean and what should I do????

Thanks!!

To Keshaun::: Such kind words you have for someone who just lost their child, your mom must be a very special woman. And by the way, hard as it may be for you to comprehend.......some children are actually planned and wanted even before pregnancy. Not all are a mistake, oh sorry "unplanned".

AAAHHH sounds promising. Go to http://www.peeonastick.com. I wish this website would have been around when I was trying to get pregnant. I wasted soooo much money on those stupid tests.

One thing you could do is go out to the dollar store and get one. I have heard that they are pretty decent. Never tried one for myself though.

Good luck! :~)

Pregnancy tests RARELY give false positives because it's detecting a hormone that ONLY exist when you are pregnant. If there's a faint pink line it means that the hormone is inside of you (even if it's a little bit) which means you are probably pregnant.

Congrats :)

Well, pee on another stick again if you want :) Just to make sure... OR go see a doctor....

But either way, I'm pretty sure you're pregnant... 99%

@ holeeycow : It's not EASY to get pregnant when you want to be. So what if some people get EXCITED about being pregnant, it's obviously important to them, why would you make fun of that? I'm sure there are things that are important to you, too... even if it's not about getting pregnant... and I'm sure you wouldn't appreciate it if someone made fun of you for it.

The dollar store pregnancy test are just as reliable because they are also detecting the hormone that ONLY babies produce. ALL pregnancy tests now-a-days does that, so you're safe with any of them :)

They are so reliable that many doctors use home pregnancy tests to see if you're pregnant now. They have you pee in a cup and they stick the home pregnancy test into it... lol just FYI

That one is kinda hard to help with. I just had a baby a year ago. when I took the first response test I also had a very faint pink on it. I also did not want to get pregnant at the time so I took another test it was also slightly pink. A week later I found out I was PG. It didn't take me long to get over not wanting to be pregnant but I would suggest you talk to your doctor.

I'm very sorry about the loss. The faint line sounds very promising. You will have to do an additional test to confirm, preferably with first morning urine. Hope you get a positive!

I had a super super super faint line when i took a preg test last month and i was a few days late. i really felt pregnant. (i have 2 already) but a week later i started my period. I was sooo bummed! (I am TTC#3) I really think i was prego though and maybe had an early miscarriage. I know its hard to wait but maybe give it a little more time and test agian.
Best of Luck to you!!!

I would definately take another test with first morning urine. Sounds like you are either pregnant or got a faulty test. Good luck!

I hesitate to say "congratulations" but usually any line means pregnant!

Go to a dollar store (dollar general) if you can and get a dollar test. They are just as reliable.

Hope you get the results you want! It tends to happen when you least expect it!
