my finance will be in iraq until june 2009. which means IF we got pregnant as soon as he got home i would 29 when i gave birth. does age make it harder to get pregnant with PCOS? will it be harder to concieve when im 29 then when im 26?
Im not sure how bad i have it...i dont have the physically signs of PCOS. im not over weight and i dont have facial hair, but i do not ovualte on my own. my doctor said my male hormone level is at 73. i understand i will have to use clomid but what are my chances of getting pregnant period?

We've been TTC on our own now for 13 months with no luck.

I am 33 with PCOS and had my son when I was 30. So chances are good. The best bet is talk to your Doctor about your plan and he can help plan. I took birth control for about two years which got me straight and when I got off I got pregnant that next month. Like I said talk to your doctor now so that you can start helping yourself while your husband is gone.

Ok, I have PCOS, and the Dr's always told me that the sooner the better for getting pregnant (which telling a 15 year old girl that when diagnosed was a bad idea. . . I was diagnosed 4 years ago.) Either way, I have not conceived, I know the dr said that I could use some form of infertility drug or something to try and get pregnant later, but it is possible to get pregnant without them. My mom had 3 kids, she had PCOS. She conceived me without infertility drugs or treatments. She used them with my sister, and my brother was a suprise, so It is possible. Don't get discouraged. And as for when, that is up to you. You may have better luck at 26 than 29, or maybe not. Just keep your hopes up and don't worry about it (I know it sounds wierd, but it has been proven that when you don't worry it acutally helps increase your chances). Hope all goes well.

ages doesn't plays a factor when ttc with pcos, I am 19 years old, and I have tried clomid 100mg 4 cycles, and now I am on metformin, so far the metformin has been working out good, this is my 2nd month on it and now my cycles are 29 days apart, but in your case u said you have no signs of it so i guess i'll better your chance a bit, as for myself, I had bad states of acne in the past, I have unwanted facial hair and hairy legs, and I had irreguler periods.
Its best you try treat your problem right away, start taking Metformin to get your body functioning on your own, so that you can get your hormones level back normal so that your body can ovulate on its own, and that would even better your chances when you start on clomid

It's often difficult to conceive with PCOS no matter how old you are. I have PCOS. We started TTC when I was 25. I finally conceived when I was 30, only after taking injectables and having an IUI.

I have PCOs also. I hear it is difficult for us to get pregnant. It's hard TTC no matter PCO or not especially as we get older. Good luck

You should start by not wanting to get pregnant, just have sex everyday or every other day and don't think about getting pregnant, just have fun with your partner. Get more useful information and guides to get pregnant here https://tr.im/OKlM8
after sex-put a pillow under your butt or prop your feet up on the wall so your pelvis is tilted
eat healthy
back off caffiene
workout, even if its just a 20 minute walk a day, be active.
