I highly recommend reading "The Infertility Cure" by Dr. Randine Lewis. She suggests many healthy foods to eat while you're trying to get pregnant.
Here are a few that I remember from the book:
- organic foods, especially meat
- fresh fruit and vegetables
- anything with lots of B6 can help naturally balance progesterone and aid in implantation (foods that are high in B6 include broccoli, squash, bananas, pineapple, carrots…most vegetables)
- other foods can help depending on your own personal symptoms
Good luck!

Folic acid is good to take before you even think about getting pregnant because folic acid prevents alot of birth defects. If you are not pregnant yet, take some prenatal vitamins, When you are pregnant you continue to take these pills and just make sure you get enough of your fruits, veggies, whole grains, and reduced fat meat and be carefull with the seafood. Good luck!!

Just like anybody, healthy foods are fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean proteins, etc. Cut out the sugars, starches, flours, etc. Good luck!
