Today at work, I work retail on my feet 8-9 hours a day, and noticed that I had like 4-5 of the braxton hicks within 15 minutes. Afterward I felt extremely nauseous and felt like I could have passed out. What was going on?? Is this too soon to have thesse type of contractions and that close together. Alos, I walk 30 mins a day and today while i was walking I had another 3 contractions within 5-7 minutes.

Hello. I am currently 37 weeks along with my pregnancy. I have what is called Larsen Syndrome, which is a genetic defect that affects the joints in the body. It has a number of other side affects, but I was lucky enough for it to only affect my hips, my right knee, and cause clubfoot (which have all been corrected enough for function).

Does anyone have any experience with this, something similar, or even ever heard of this????

Expert/medical advice would be greatly appreciated.

And just so you know, yes, my doctor is aware of this... LOL.

Lmp on 8/25/07. Concieved around 9/4/07 & 9/9/07. Positive hpt on 9/22, went to doctors to confirm, bloodtest said I had an hcg level of 29, 2 days later a level of 26, 2 days later a level of 92, going back again today to retest. I have pregnancy symptoms, mild breast tenderness, mild cramping, some queseyness, very tired, mood swings, missed period, increased appatiet. My general doctor keeps throwing the word miscarriage at me and doesnt sound too optimistic and wont tell me that i have a viable pregnancy. I am very confused as to what is going on. I have had no bleeding or severe pain. I want this baby really bad. Does it sound to you like i have a viable pregnancy? This is my first pregnancy with no past history of miscarrage or etopic. Thank you.

This is my second pregnancy. The first pregnancy ended in a very early miscarriage. I just consider this my second pregnancy. If you're pregnant with twins, how long does it take for a belly pooch to form if you've already had a little fat on you.

hi all,
im 14weeks plus one day pregnant with baby number 3. ive been going by these weeks as it was the first day of my last period. which is what the doc go on at first. well i went for my first scan today and expected them to say i was anything between 10 and 12weeks. but they said my baby is messureing 14weeks and 1 day. well i know i didnt conceieve on the first day of my last period as i didnt have sex then, i had sex ruffly about 2weeks after my period finished. so why is my baby messureing this big? is it because they have done it wrong? or do i just have a big baby? i have 2 little boys and my first weighed 7lb 12oz and my second a wopping 9lb 3oz so im really scared this baby will be even bigger. any imput would be great thank you x.x.x

a mom's weight gain during pregnancy, and autism? The article below states that women who gain more than the recommended amount of weight during pregnancy have a higher chance of having kids with birth defects. Not sure if it includes autism, but I know several women with autistic children and they have all gained A LOT of weight during their pregnancies...50 or more pounds. Just struck me last night as I was watching TV. I saw an ad with Jenny Mc Carthy doing an ad for Jenny Craig or weight watchers stating that she gained 60 pounds while pregnant and her son is autistic.

This isn't a question, but I wanted to thank everyone for answering all the labor questions. Labor went quickly and in her words "not as bad as expected." And I was suprised to find out that I wasn't completely useless. Haha. We now have a beautiful 7 pound little boy. Thanks again!

I am wondering if its ok to drink skim milk while pregnant or should i switch to 1 or 2 percent. Also, be honest everyone...how many diapers will i go through with a newborn. I have been on birth control for about 2 years now. my boyfriend and i had sex about 2 weeks ago, and i had only one pack of birth control left so i was trying to make it last, and hadnt taken it in a few days. so i took two before we had sex. i havent taken a pill since, and usually that would cause my period to come, but it hasn't. i heard that if you have been taking birth control for a while, it makes it harder to concieve, but is this true? could i really be pregant? i don't really have any other symptoms?

I am 12 weeks pregnant and today after i got out of the bath and towl dried down i noticed that i was bleeding . Not like a heavy period blood it was brownish red watery like and i wiped it up and got back in the bath and havent been bleeding since could sum 1 tell me if that is normal i already have 1 child but experienced no bleeding at anytime!

ok so i tried castor oil to induce labor
the first day i drank 2 tbl spoons then like 5 hours later i took another 1 tbl spoon
i woke up with cramps thinking i was in labor[which was what i was goin for] but it wasnt cointractions becuae it was constant pain not comeing and going.
i ended up not even getting the poops or anything
for like 2 days becaus ei was so constipated.
i got diarrhea for like 2 seconds then nothing for 3 days.
then yesterday i drank 2 tbl spoons again and still nothing
i was trying to induce labor so please tell me some positive stories
