It probably means you'll have your baby within the next couple of days, to maybe a week or so from now.
Bloody show means your body's gearing up more than ever.

Make sure you have your bag packed... and everything in place you want to get in place before the big day. It's close!

Good luck!

Here - read this - it talks about "bloody show" a bit:

Its normal to have slight blood loss after an examination, or it could be your mucus plug has come away which often happens before the start of labour. Either way good luck.

Probably that the baby is getting ready to be born, but you should be asking your midwife or doctor about this, even if they tend to treat you like a bit of an idiot for not knowing as much as they do..been there.

That's your mucus plug. It just means that you're continuing to dilate and efface. Yeah!!!

It means you are going to have a baby within the next couple of weeks. It doesn't mean it'll be real soon, so don't be disappointed if you don't go into labor soon.

i had that. if you have had an internal examination then part of your mucus plug will have come loose, like a small 'show'. if you have any worries, day or night, ring your maternity ward for reassurance. they really don't mind
