Im not sure neither is OB right now at how far along i am because i had a m/c before this preg. with no period inbetween so we are trying to estimate anywhere between 6-9 wks. i had an u/s done on wed. only a sac appeared so went and had bloodwork taken my levels were 24,000 on wed. and dropped to 19,500 fri. is it at all possible that this preg. is viable.

if i am only 6wks. then its normal not to see anything on a u/s but why are my levels decreasing?

i need good information i know what the worst could be and im prepared so i dont want to hear it if your just going to say im m/c, i need some hope and miracle stories from others who have experienced this.

Hello I have some questions for you guys

1. What's the best way to explain what Braxton Hicks feel like?
2. Is menstral like cramps a sign that labor is approaching?
3.My Dr. said my cervix is starting to thin out I'm due in 3 more weeks does this mean I may go early?
4. My baby seems to be never sleeping he is always poking, kicking and punching me does this mean he may be hyper active when he's older?

I've read you can't eat deli meat because it can carry certain bacteria, but does lunch meat (sliced turkey, ham, etc. that you buy already cut in a bag) count as deli meat? I love turkey & peanut butter sandwiches!!!

I am 5 ways away from my due date, and I went to bed last night feeling really yucky. I woke up this morning and have the worst head cold. I really want to have the baby, and wanted to help labor progress by walking, and the usual sex but I am too tired, I don't feel good, and I don't want to go into labor sick. Any ideas on how to bet rid of this cold. Its Sunday and I can't call the doctor to find out what will help, but I have slept almost all day! I just have a tone of pressure in my head!

Or could all the bouncing around eject the foetus?

I know it means the foetus has been aborted from your womb but I found this very upsetting when I went through my second pregnancy and a nurse said " I see you previously had an abortion" It made me feel as if she thought I had deliberately got rid of my child.

There have been conflicting med. opinions on this subj. I was wondering if there's anyone who has taken this road.I know alot of people state that they would rather have c-secs.I personally disagree.I was much more miserable the second time around with the c-sec than the first when I delivered vaginally.Any medical experts out there who can help??

I have 2 children. I had 1 shot of demerol with each labor, which helped me relax and then I was able to concentrate and push those kids out (within an hour of the shot). Epidurals scare me. My husband (not the father of my 1st 2) wants me to go natural this time around (I'm 21 weeks now) and not have anything. I waited as long as I could last time but the shot really REALLY helped. He says I can squeeze his hand so hard I break it if necessary but does not want me to have any drugs. I'm worried he'll think less of me if I have something to help. I told him the next delivery he could do and have it natural. What do you guys think? I know going all natural is the best way, obviously, and will do that if I can handle it but I thought 1 shot of demerol was pretty good too.

I am almost 37 weeks pregnant and two weeks ago when I went to the doctor I was 50% thinned out. I think I have lost my mucus plug and the doctor stated I could go into labor anytime. Tonight is a new moon is there any truth behind the old wives tales about going into labor on a new moon? The baby has already droped a few days ago should I be on my toes tonight?

My boyfriend and I are both virgins and have been with each other for a long time. We've been planning our special day for a long time as well, and it's now here. I am considering combining the male condom with the sponge for birth control- do you think this is a good idea/will it be effective? I expect my period in about a week and a half (10 days or so?) and plan to be 'active' on Wednesday, so a week before my period. Am I likely to be fertile at this time? My periods are regular, on a 30ish day cycle.

Also, what is your favourite condom brand/style? Are the thinner ones 'less safe'? What do you recommend? What are sponges like? Can you feel them? Are they difficult to put in place? Thanks!

I got my period on Thurs and Sat (yesterday)it ended. It started off being brown and reddish in color. I took a pregnancy test but it came out negative. I've never had a period last for 2 days before. I've had no cramps and a very light flow. I know pregnancy tests are pretty accurate but, this is just weird for me. My breasts are still sore and I've been very dizzy these past 2 days. I could just be overreacting?? Any thoughts?

A friend of mine is claiming shes only 35wks pregnant and that she is going into hospital on mon to be induced because they said her baby is big.Would they do that for this reason. Im asking this as i think she got pregnant before she met her currant partner and is trying to say its his baby when she is further gone than 35 wks, i think she is being taken in to be induced because shes overdue and not because the baby is big.
