ok, as the question goes, she found out she was pregnant this week. last week, she got really drunk at the bar,. didnt know she was pregnant of course. so now she is all worried of course. so,,, is it possible that she may have hurt her unborn baby?? please help!

you can't worry about what you did before you found out. That happens to A LOT of women. focus now on not drinking at all, taking your vitamins and eating right. really - don't worry - as long as it was a one night binge and not a regular everynight thing, there is nothing to worry about. besides, you can't change it. I'm sure the baby will be fine. see - happened to the lady above, and happened to me with both. many women tell this story. most women don't stop living their lives when they are ttc.

It's always a possibility... B/c I drank massive amounts of alcohol come to find out when I was 4 weeks pregnant and I wasn't aware... As of now, from what we now everything is fine!

you will be fine. according to my due date i was around a week preg when i partied pretty hard. but i didnt find out i was preg till i was 6 weeks along i also took a few loratab during the weeks before i found out. and an ibuprophin 800 and the doc said all of those things would be fine.so at that early you should be fine just dont do it again.
usually if it is done before you find out and quit when you do find out then ods are you will be fine.

she will be fine my girlfriend drank and she was 8 weeks when she found out and they baby is healthy she even a few drugs and the baby is healthy, she freaked out too she was worried it would have effects on the child but everything is fine
your friend should be ok

Thousands of women go out and drink before they find out that they are pregnant and go on to have perfectly healthy babies. I know several women personally that drank heavily a week or two before finding out and nothing happened. I had a drink 2 days before finding out and it made me ill, so I didn't even finish it.

I did the same thing and my daughter was fine if she is concerned she should speak to a Doctor but the chances are that the baby will be fine as long as she doesn't drink anymore.

It's unlikely that damage will occur. Fetal alcohol syndrome typically occurs after long-term and heavy alcohol use. One binder before she knew she was pregnant is probably not going to hurt her as long as she doesn't continue to repeat that performance.

It is a possibility. But, most likely, her baby will be fine as long as she doesn't continue drinking.
