Or could all the bouncing around eject the foetus?

Studies have shown that skipping during pregnancy can cause brain damage to the fetus when it slips out onto the sidewalk, tile, or concrete floor surfaces. Injury can be compounded if the pregnant mother is skipping at heights greater than 7-10 ft, so skipping from the tops of baby furniture is not recommended. Additionally, skipping in high heeled shoes, at swimming pools, can compound the danger.

It's not going to eject the fetus.

As for rather or not you could/can skip, that depends on your pregnancy. As long as your having a healthy pregnancy there is no harm in skipping.

I did. I even bounced on a trampoline. After a while it wasnt fun anymore, so I stopped.

When youre first pregnant anything goes.

That's one way to make a baby (or foetus) very dizzy. Is that really fair?

No the baby is very well protected. If you can walk, run, jump, dance, then you can skip. Ask you Dr. I'm sure he/she will find you question rather amusing, but will give you a serious answer.

Could you before? Seriously, check with the doctor - most will say that a woman should continue activities that she did before she got pregnant.
