Steak is fine, but needs to be cooked to 165 degrees F. That usually will mean it is well-done (not pink at all). (For this reason, I haven't eaten much steak since pregnant, because I don't like it totally done :( ). Also, you don't want to a ton of it (even while not pregnant); you should vary the types of meats and protein sources you are getting throughout the week.

Steak is fine for you to eat while you are pregnant. Just make sure it is cooked all the way :)
I don't think there is a connection between red meat and morning sickness...I hardly ate any red meat (maybe once a month) with my oldest and had terrible morning sickness!! This time around I have been struggling to keep my iron levels up, so I have been eating more red meat (one a week or so) and I haven't had any morning sickness :) go figure!

yes good source of Protein and iron. Although I would make sure its cooked to at least medium, that may be why you have a concern. Also I heard that there was a study that women who ate a lot of red meat before getting pregnant had a higher chance of morning sickness. It didn't say about increasing it while pregnant but maybe. Either way this is more for people that have red meat ALOT so as always, eat everything in moderation.

Steak is good for you; however, when I was first pregnant, I went out to a steak dinner, took one bite and couldn't eat anymore. I couldn't eat any red meat when I was pregnant so I ate a lot of chicken. Good luck!

Just make sure it's cooked properly.
This question alone makes me want a steak and baked potato now.
