Hello I have some questions for you guys

1. What's the best way to explain what Braxton Hicks feel like?
2. Is menstral like cramps a sign that labor is approaching?
3.My Dr. said my cervix is starting to thin out I'm due in 3 more weeks does this mean I may go early?
4. My baby seems to be never sleeping he is always poking, kicking and punching me does this mean he may be hyper active when he's older?

1) a tightening in areas of your belly, or all of your belly. Some times painful, other times not, just like you're doing a sit up all the time.

2) those cramps are the feeling of your cervix thinning and changing.

3)no, it does not. it does mean that your body is fully functional though.

4) of freaking course not.

1) tightening on any part of your abdomen. some people have it all over, I only get it on the bottom of my abdomen.
2) Baraxton Hicks can also feel like cramps.
3) my cervix has been thinning since week 37 and im due in two days. It looks like i might go over.
4) I don't know. my baby is kicking all the time when im awake, but when im asleep he seems to sleep.

Braxton Hicks feels like a tightening of your uterus, like your tummy is hard and tight. Then it relaxes and does it again, however they aren't necessarily painful.

Cramps are a sign of coming labor and changes within the uterus.

You may go early, maybe not.

You feel him more because there is less space in there for him to move around in. Nothing to do with hyper-active, he's just getting ready to say "Hello!".
