Pregnancy - June 2007

My wife had her last period on June 2nd 2007. Last saturday we took a home pregnancy test since she had the first symthoms (frequent urination, brest swelling) and it came out positive after only 3 weeks from her period. She still HASNT missed her period. Today we had the same exam as the ultrasound, but it was pelvic. Basically, the machine didnt go inside her vagina, but on her belly. I think its called a pelvic ultrasound or whatever. The GYNO said he didnt see anything. The beta HCG test was 1582 mUI/ml and to me it seems a little higher. Shes not even 4 weeks pregnant (4 weeks tomorrow) and I read on the internt that by now you can see the baby sac in the uterus. The Gyno didnt know **** and said that there is "an unidentified matter inside her womb".Not a tumor obviously, but he didnt wanna say pregnancy. he said that the womb contains "stuff that is normally present when u r not pregnant".What the hell does it mean?He thought it was an ectopic pregnancy, but the HCG is too low

hi hope someone can help me. i can't get a hold of my dr before i go to the hospital i want to know if anyone else is going though this or has. last night i had major major pain in my stomach where it felt like someoen totally just kicked me and this morning its really mild should i be worried to go to the dr or is that someone normal? or should i wait to go if it comes back? along w/ it its given me really bad leg crap where my leg hurts sooo bad.

I am 13weeks pregnant this weekend, is it too late for an abortion? Is it right. Me and my boyfriend don't get on, he hates me,always putting me down. I am in law school and I am wondering if it is feesable to request a certain day to be induced, as I am fearful of setting in class going into labor. My school is 45 minutes from home...or longer...because I'm in the bay area and traffic will make that an 1 1/2. So, if I go into labor while at school or while on my commute...it won't be pretty. I am thinking of asking my dr to induce me the Friday before my actual due date (obviously thats if I dont have him early). Do you think my dr. will be willing to do this? or is inducing only for post-term?

I am five months post-partum and I am experiencing an extreme amount of vaginal dryness. SO bad to the point that sex is painful and KY only works for so long. We have tried every product out there. It's to the point I don't want to have sex with my husband! Is this normal and is there anything we can do? Thanks!

I am 26 years old and overweight. I am 5'7 and weigh 275 lbs. I have been working on my weight and have lost 60 pounds. The main reason I have been working so hard to lose weight, other than obvious health reasons, is so that I could get pregnant. And now I finally am! I wanted to have lost quite a bit more weight before I got pregant, but I am so excited I can barely contain myself! Basically I just want some advice on how to have a healthy pregnancy. I am 30 weeks and I have had 6 ultrasounds so far and I have another scheduled in 2 weeks. I love seeing my baby but they are keeping a close eye on her because I am on medication that I have to take and it can affect her growth so they have been doing ultrasounds to keep track of her. I am looking for some reassurance that having this many ultrasounds is okay and doesn't hurt my baby. I am sure the dr wouldn't do anything that harms my baby but I am just wondering if any of you mom's have had this many ulttrasounds or more. I would love to hear your experiences. i heard from 1 of my friends that it is safe to have sex while you still have your period but i think its not appropriate for couples to do such thing like that.. right? out from curiousity, this question pop out in my head.. and i remember my experience last june 18.. dat day was the last day of my monthly period.. i didn't notice it at all. we had an unprotected sex.. after a week, i felt something strange about me.. i always burp eventhough my stomach was not full. and yes, my stomach does hurt.. and i felt a mild headache most of the time. i'm getting worried if i'm pregnant or not.. can you help me? thanks

I am married and 26 yrs old. My last period was in mid april. Since then I haven't had my period as of yet. We had intercourse in around May 24-26 dates. I did blood test and urine test at the lab. Both came out negative. I just checked with my doctor and she said I will have to do Sonogram since i am two months late for my period and I may not be ovulating. I just felt my tummy is slightly getting bigger but that might be bloating. I feel tired and have lower back pain sometimes. Other than that I don't have any pregnency symptoms. Is it possible am I be Pregnent even though blood test came out negative. Anyone have this type of issue? Should I just wait another month or take the sonogram?

ok so i have heard a lot about eggwhite cervical mucus, when the mucus comes out eggwhite..clear.. n thick.. does that mean i am ABOUT to ovulate? or does that mean i already ovulated? can someone who knows more about this please fill me in. because last month i was suppose to ovulate on june 10th.. and i saw the eggwhite mucus on june 12th.. does that mean i ovulated on june 12th.. or a few days after? how does it work? and when is the best time to have sex. i know you should have sex everyother or third day to make sure u dont miss it.. but i dont live with my fiance at the momment.. so i gotta sorta pick the days.

I woke up and felt like I had to go to the bathroom #2 and when I went I didnt go just #1 and I had all of this pinkish bloody dishcharge. Im very crampy this morning and they come on and off. I have tryed getting ahold of my docots office but they just make me leave a message for the nurse to call back. My baby is breech and schedualed for a C-Section in 2 weeks. I was 7 weeks pregnant and im sure that i had a miscarriage, i have been to the hospital a few times and the doctors confirmed it for me. I had really heavy bleeding, clotting, and the worst pains of my life. Anyways im not sure how i am suppose to feel.. I actually feel lost.... I know there are women out there who have gone through what i am going through, and i was just wondering if someone could give me some advice... How long does the pain last? I had my IUD taken out on May 30th after having it in for about 15 months. I had my regular period 2 days later. I stayed regular the whole time I had the IUD. My Dr. said I could start trying right away, so we did. My period was suppose to come yesterday or today and I haven't seen it. Yesterday when I went to the bathroom I had a little pink in the tissue and the time after that I had a little discharge but nothing since. When I got pregnant with my daughter 5 years ago it only took one time of trying and one pregnany test. So I have no idea.
Please help with any advice.

I have a question that I don't feel that I can ask my dr because he's male.

I'm a first time mom and I'm am planning on having a normal birth in September. Someone said to me that its better to have a C-section from the point of view that your sex-life is never the same afterwards. Is this true for everyone who has given birth normally or only for a select few? And do you stay stretched or do you eventually return to normal?

The other question is that I am planning on asking for an epidural, but I've also been told that you will still feel the full force of the pain of when the baby comes out. I'm really a wimp when it comes to pain and I'd like to know what other women out there have experienced. I think its more the unknown than anything else that I'm scared of.

i was messing around with my BF and he was being sneaky and he had slipped his penis near my vaginal opening practically right on top i left it there for maybe 30 sec and i think he was precuming but what are my chances of getting pregnant? are they very little? could it reach from that far? cause doesn't it already take about 3 day for it to reach the egg from intercourse? so from that distance wouldn't take about 6 days or so? wouldn't they be dead? i dont know i am just freaking out and my period is coming soon so i am trying not to stress so i dont miss my period so i dont think that i am pregnant. please help me!!!

Ok On Friday I found out I was pregnant. I had gone to the docter for some abnormal vaginal bleeding. She said it still may be a perfectly normal pregnancy. I went to the er sunday because I thought I might be miscarrying. The docter told me that it was a threatened misscarriage because my hcg levels had gone from 184 to 152 and to come back on Tuesday and get tested to make sur my levels dropped completly. I went home and stopped bleeding completly by Sunday night. My levels on Tuesday were still 122, but not zero. I never had any cramping and now no bleeding. Could I still be pregnant? Could it have been twins and I lost one?I just don't know. But what I do know is I really want this baby to be ok. Any advice? I also still have pregnancy symptoms like tender breasts and fatigue which i didn't even have before I "miscarried". Please help

I just got off the pill a little less than a month ago, my last periond was on the 20th of may, but the last time i had sex was on the 5th of june. Im not getting morning sickness, i think im ovulating, but not too sure, i am getting discharge. I know this will make people angry, but I have to ask this question. I know it will make people angry because I have tried to encourage people on this site to at least try breastfeeding, and it has been met with animosity. I know that people try to breastfeed and are not successful - I am not talking to those poeple, I am talking to the people who won't even try. People say they are "Not comfortable with breastfeeding", and I don't know what that means. I'm not trying to be nasty, I seriously want to know.

It is not sexual, you show less skin than when wearing a bikini, and it is the best thing you can do to give your baby an healthy start. It is the best thing to know that you are nourishing your baby all on your own like nature intended. What's to be uncomfortable about that?
