Well any kind of pinkish discharge needs to be checked out. It does sound like your plug and the cramping could possibly be contractions (that's what mine were).
You need to see your doctor now....call back and tell them you need to speak to one of your doctors nurses right away, you may not have time to wait for a call back. They may advise you to go to the hospital (which you should do) but i would tell them you're on your way and still need to speak to a nurse....i would absolutely demand it, they have someone available to speak with you. Or just show up at your doctors office, but i would honestly go the hospital and get checked out there and just call your doctor on the way or the hospital may even call him/her for you.
But definately get checked now....if your baby wasn't breech, then i would say wait, but you don't need any complications to come about if this is labor.

If you are due to have a section then you need to call your doctor if you have to leave a message then use the words, law suit !!! I'm sure she will call back, you have had a show, you may not go into labor for a day or 2 or even a week the baby is fine as your waters haven't broken, but you don't want to end up with an emergency section if you go into labor.... get tough keep calling till you get through to a person

Go to the hospital if they don't call back soon. The office should have an emergency # to call in this instance. Drink a lot water while you wait. Feeling of having to have a #2 means the baby has dropped into position and the bloody discharge means you could be ready to go. When that happened to me, I called the doctor, he said come in right away. Being my 3rd child I showered first and went to the office. I was 6cm dilated by then. Thank god the hospital was across the parking lot or I would have had my daughter in our truck. Go! Go! Go!

This is the exact same thing that happen to me last Friday! I started having contractions and was told to go to the L&D if the contractions are 5-7 minutes apart. I was only 33 weeeks then. Well, I went and my cervix had shorten and the baby's head was down.. that's why you are feeling pressure. I know it may be your first experience but use common sense.. If the nurse is nit calling you back, just go to the L&D. They ended up stopping my contractions but you MAY have a different story to tell.

As long as you contractions don't become strong and regular(5 - 10 minutes apart) they are probably just braxton hicks. With my first child I lost my plug over 2 weeks before I had her, and I was induced. Lay down and relax and wait for the nurse to call you back. If you feel like your going into labor, just go to the hospital. Even if they just monitor you and send you home you mind will be at ease.

Keep calling! Tell them that it is an emergency and REFUSE to get off the phpne until the receptionist transfers your call. You wouldn't have been scheduled a C-secion without there being a reason for it, and I guess for you to go into natural labour might complicate things, but I was breech when I was born 25 years ago and I survived...things might not be as bleak as you think...
But definately get back on the phone and refuse to budge until you have talked to whoever you need to talk to :)
Good luck!

It sounds like to me your having braxton hicks.. But your bleeding? Walk to the emergency room. THEY CANNOT DENY YOU BECAUSE YOU R BLEEDING. The baby is ready to come out.. It can come out whenever it wants. Im saying walk to the emergency room cuz they're gonna make you walk around the hospital so you can dialate more. Good luck mommy!

you can't get an infection from the loss of a mucous plug! You could still have another couple of weeks before anything happens yet, don't panic. I would suggest you wait and see if the pains become regular, and strong. If they are real contractions they will become more frequent and stronger and thet will last about a minute each.

Call one more time and stress it is an emergency. If she doesn't call back, head on into the ER because you don't want an infection. Honestly, what is it with doctor's office these days!

Call again and if they don't get back to you then go on to the emergency room, then you can get checked out. You might be going into pre term labor. It's better to get checked out then you can go on from there.
good luck.
