Pregnancy - March 2007

I just started having sex. We use condoms and when we're finished, we always make sure they are intact. Is it possible to get pregnant even if the condom doesn't break? I know this sounds stupid, I just never thought of it before. I'm not on birth control.

just regular ham you buy at the store. i havent ate any yet in my pregnancy because i heard you have to heat it up first and i dont like my ham warm so i am really craving a sandwich and my doctors office is closed. thanks

My friend is pregnant for the second time, only this time she has horrible morning sickness, she can't even keep down her prenatal vitamins. Its terrible. I want to help her, because she can't even get out of bed for most of the day. What should she do? Is there any advice to help her out? Anything will help at this point..

I have found out that im about 6 weeks pregnant after nearly 3 yrs of trying and im over the moon about it the only problem is SMOKEING i have been to see my doctor but they said that the gum has to much nico in so i cant have that and i know that you cant wear the patches when pregnant, I have cut down a bit but i realty dont want to be smokeing have anybody got any tips for me i dont wont to take my chances as weve tried very hard for this child this is doing my head in ive gone from smokeing 10-15 a day to 4-5 since i found out on the wkend thanks for any help xxx

I am only 14 weeks but I am so determined to breast feed and so scared that I won't be able to and that my milk won't be in for awhile after the baby is born. I was wondering, would you recommend that I start pumping in my 9th month to ensure that my milk comes in and have a supply already started or just wait while mother nature takes its course? Could the pumping cause engorgement are make it even more problematic for my child? I would appreciate any advice. Thanks!

My husband and I have been trying to conceive for 20 months. This would be our second child. Well finally it has happened. I am 7 weeks pregnant today... (YAY). But here's the thing...I am soooo worried that I will miscarry. I never felt this way with my first pregnancy. I feel that it took us so long to get pregnant, now I finally am, and now something will happen to take it away from me. Am I being silly? Am I being parranoid? Has anyone else been in a situation like this or similar to this?

If everyone in a relationship had to sign and agreement that if the woman got pregnant the guy would not be responsablb to pay child support and the woman would have to have the baby no abortions . Do you think this would stop people from having unwanted children

I'm due in 2 days now with my first, and i've just lost what seems to be my mucus plug.

I was told by a couple of people awhile ago that if its not tinged with blood, you haven't lost it all - and it doesn't mean anything to do with labor being soon.

It was just a clear to yellowy ...mucus really.

Has anyone lost their mucus plug(and have it clear), and gone into labor in the next 24 hours - few days?

Is it normal for me to rather sleep than have sex?
I'm two months pregant, with morning sickness thru out the day,
I wake up at 5 in the morning to get myself ready for work and the kids to school, I come back at 7 P.M. and help the kids with homework and to spend time with them. This pregnacy makes me really sleepy and I'm having problems with my husband because of it. Please help...

Ive only just found out that my ex-girlfriend is pregnant and im really scared!! I'm 21 and she is 24 and we are both about to finish our final year at university! We have had an on-off relationship for the past year and recently decided that we were not right for each other and to go our seperate ways. Then the bombshell came........

I took her to get a test and it come back positive, despite using a condom and then the morning after pill when it split. She has strong beliefs and does not want an abortion. Ive been supportive and said i would stand by her but we live so far apart when not at uni!

Ive got to tell my folks but dont know how to bring it up, im bricking myself! What should i do, if im to be a dad i want to be fully involved in my childslife but she has made it clear. and i agree that we dont work as a couple. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Im sorry... I posted this question about an hour ago but deleted it by accident.
I'm a 12 going on 13 week along pregnant woman and about to go in for a papsmear next week. I found out by some research not only online that some women have had problems with having one and being pregnant. Some miscarried,Some had heavy bleeding, some had unbelievable pain afterwords and some were perfectly fine. And no I am not trying to be selfish and think of myself right now. Its all about MY baby. I want to keep him or her safe,and I want to make 100% sure what I am doing isn't going to affect him/her.I'm not worried about my modesty like some of you posted before. I just want some input on the matter. You guys have been very helpful and thank you for all your great answers. I just want to make sure things will be ok for my baby. Do I have rights to deny a pap? Will I by law have to have one? I know alot of you will say i need one but is there a chance something can happen?

Im almost 14 weeks pregnant and over the last few weeks have been having major cravings for JUNK! I do eat a healthy breakfast, lunch and dinner and i take my prenatals every day, but im constantly snacking. Cookies, chocolate, ice cream, and everything else you can think of! Any advice to stop this or calm it down a bit? Did you have this?Ive only gained 3 1/2 pounds and Im a small woman but I can feel myself getting bigger by the minute lol. ok, well last month i thought i was pregnant and before i got a test i started my period.. it was 2 weeks late.

this month i thought the same thing cuz it was late and i waited 3 weeks this time since it was last last month... then it started

the periods i have though are really heavy for 2 days then they stop on day 3. my normal periods are 5 days, heavy in the middle....

could i still be pregnant if i'm having my periods?? i have no other pregnancy signs that i know of... i mean i'm fatigued alot and my boobs are slightly larger but not noticably... only to me

Haha, to me it seems as though its taking a toll on my partner too, I mean hes excited in all about having a child but, he can almost be as bitter as me sometimes!

hi, i just had a baby march 16th, im unhappy with my body now with the weight gain. altho i am VERY happy with what came from it :) i would just like to get back to my pre pregnant size
my question is ... what would give better results.... a tredmill or an excercise bike? im looking to lose the flab around my tummy and shrink down my thighs a little bit thanks!

I'm 38 weeks and 1 day pregnant. I was at the doctor yesterday and I was 2-3 centimeters dilated but not effaced. Off and on all day I have been having contractions. Nothing that takes my breath away or anything. My back is killing me. I feel dizzy off and on. I just don't want to go to the hospital is my water hasn't broke because I don't want to be laying around the hospital forever. What should I do? I took a walk earlier, sex doesn't work. I drank castor oil last week and it didn't work. Should I call my doctor or just hang in there?

I'm almost 11 weeks pregnant. For the last week or so i've had a bad cold, with a constantly stuffy nose and lots of sneezing. I feel really lethargic too. I've had a flu jab a while back (before I was pregnant) so don't think it's flu.I've been getting lots of rest, washing my hands etc, just worried about the effects of it on the baby? Thanks

Ok my last period was on Feb. 21st. and some time n early march me n my boi friend had sex. and he cam n me. well i have been very sleepy latley n i have not had my period this month n march n to day is march 27th. my breast are not that sore, but like when i usually get my period like 2 or 3 days before i get it my breasts are sore n i spot. and i have had none of that. should i jus wait til the 1st.? and could u tell me how 2 tell how many days my cycle is??? i never really knew!!! and jus tell me what you thank. could i be pregnant???

I am 23 weeks pregnant with my second baby. A couple of weeks ago i could feel very active, strong movements on a regular basis, but this past week it seems the movements have lessened and/or are not as strong. Now i really have to concentrate and sit still in order to feel them myself but two weeks ago even my husband could feel them already. Am i being paranoid? is this something i should be concerned with? my next appointment is not until late next week, i have been making sure that i can still feel some movement every day so i am not too worried but i would just like a little reassurance. thanks
