I am 23 weeks pregnant with my second baby. A couple of weeks ago i could feel very active, strong movements on a regular basis, but this past week it seems the movements have lessened and/or are not as strong. Now i really have to concentrate and sit still in order to feel them myself but two weeks ago even my husband could feel them already. Am i being paranoid? is this something i should be concerned with? my next appointment is not until late next week, i have been making sure that i can still feel some movement every day so i am not too worried but i would just like a little reassurance. thanks

don't panic i went through similar stage of thinking the same thing wait till your bit further when baby is bigger then you can expect regular hard movements.
my midwife told me when she was pregnant she first felt her baby moving at 18 weeks then never felt it again for a month.
im sure its all fine but mention it at your next appointment to put you mind at rest.

Hmmm well when I saw the question I assumed that your baby was running out of room, but at 23 weeks it's not likely.

It could be that your baby has just switched positions and you just aren't feeling the movements are much because of where they are.

But really go with your gut if you feel something is wrong get to a doctor ASAP.

As long as you're feeling something then i wouldn't worry.
I was feeling flutters all the time the last couple weeks and this week it's been very rare. My doctor said this is a very critical time growth for the baby and they are also learning a sleep and wake routine which they will have when born, and of course we all know they sleep more than they're awake!!
I am 21 weeks so not to far behind you. I wouldn't worry just yet. As long as they find a healthy heartbeat during your check-ups, don't frat about it.

Drink some orange juice and lay down for a while. The sugar in the juice should get the baby going. I can't remember what the exact count should be but I want to say that 7-10 kicks within one hour is normal. But if you are concerned you should call your doctor. The nurse should be able to listen to the heart beat and put your mind at ease.

You're still a little early. Maybe the baby is active when you're asleep. If you're truly worried call your doctor.

THE BABY IS GETTING BIGGER NOW AND ITS MOVEMENTS ARE RESTRICTED IT SOMETIMES STOP THE BABY FROM BEING ABLE TO MOVE AS MUCH ITS OKAY.
