It's a boy, and he'll live to be 78 years old. No joke........

Movement is usually evident to you at around 17-18 weeks. Gender can usually be found out at 19-20. But that depends on how you're carrying and how big the baby is and things like that. I know I'm 20 1/2 weeks and we're going in tomorrow to find out the gender of the baby. Granted, his gender is set shortly after conception and is fully developed by 14 weeks. It's just easier to see later in pregnancy.

for movement, you probably already felt something and you just dont recognize it, because your baby is moving. You will start to know around 18 to 20 weeks. You will not mistake it after 20 weeks.
Oh and your baby has a penis! No it might not be a boy, but it has an "indifferent penis" and although the gender is already determined by the sperm either carrying an x or a y, the penis will either become a real penis or a clitoris. So this is visible very soon, but you will probably have an ultrasound at 20 weeks, (although this OB i have now scheduled mine at 28 weeks GRRR im so ready to find out already) and at this test you will probably catch a glimpse of something that you wont even recognize, but the technician should. Its all described as "picnic food" lol either a hot dog and buns or hamburger buns :) that cracks me up!

You can start to feel the movements around 5-6 mos stage and can find out the gender around 4-5 mos stage.Sometimes the gender can be difficult to determine when given an ultrasound too early or even just the way the baby is lying in the womb-but most times 5 mos is a good time to be able to get a good gander at your little one.Good luck and congrats!!

While an ultrasound can identify fetal movement as early as 7 to 8 weeks of pregnancy, women generally don't begin to feel the baby move until sometime between 16 and 22 weeks or later, particularly if it's the woman's first pregnancy.
The initial sensations you'll notice aren't real kicks, either. Instead, some women describe the feeling as being like popcorn popping or butterflies in the stomach. If you don't feel any activity by 22 weeks, ask your doctor or midwife about it.
After a while, you'll begin to discern a pattern to your baby's movement and you'll know if something's amiss. If he's not moving as often as he usually does, your baby may be in distress. Ask your practitioner when and how to count your baby's kicks.

You should be able to tell the sex of the baby around 20 weeks. You probably won't feel your baby kick until sometime between 16 and 22 weeks, even though he started moving at 7 or 8 weeks and you may have already witnessed his acrobatics if you've had an ultrasound.

You should feel movements anytime after about 20 weeks.. can go up to around 24 weeks I think. Ultrasounds can (usually) determine gender around 20 weeks. Sometimes they can tell a little earlier, and sometimes if the baby is stubborn you can't even tell then.

Usually women feel their baby's movement around 16 weeks. Sometimes, depending on the baby and woman, they don't feel it until weeks later.
Also you'll be getting an ultra sound around 20 weeks and that's when you'll be able to figure out the gender of your baby.
Good Luck and Congrats! =]

You can expect to feel your baby moving 18 to 24 weeks. From what i heard it should feel like little goldfish's splashing their fins around in your belly. To find out your baby's gender, they say an ultrasound or sonogram is most accurate between 18 and 22 weeks.
Good Luck and I hope you all the best:)!

You usually feel the first movements some time between 16 and 20 weeks.
Most OBs do an anatomy ultrasound at 18-20 weeks.

I think they can tell gender around 14 to 16 weeks. You can feel movement as early as 16 weeks, but it can take up to 20, and even then it can take longer before it gets more intense.
