Pregnancy - March 2007

Hi there,
I'm 29 weeks pregnant and for the first time my feet, hands and legs are swelling. This is my first pregnancy and I know they tell you to expect swelling during pregnancy. I'm just wondering if there are extra things you can do to decrease swelling. I walk almost every day and am pretty active so I just wondered if there is more i should be doing? Thanks.

I read this question asked by someone else..and the same thing happened to me 3 days ago. i am 23, i couldnt afford birth control anymore so i went off it for awhile about two months ago, and not yet had a period. I did use a condom however when he pulled out it had broke!!! i dont know if it just rolled up or if it actually stayed in me... and now i have the same question

"i had sex a few days ago for the first time and now im freaking out because i have a thick, lotion like discharge. there is no odor and it is not sticky its thick but smooth. i want to know if it has any thing to do with pregnancy."

Please help me,!!!!!! i am broke today and its the last day i could get the morning after pill because its not free

I am 22 weeks pregnant, I had an ultra-sound at 18wks but they could not get a picture of the spine so the doctor schuduled me for a level 2 ultra-sound. Ive been doing some reading, does this mean something is possibly wrong with the baby? The doctor hasnt said anything to me about anything being wrong with the baby but im worried because the reading ive been doing on a level 2 ultra-sound means that there is some problem witht the fetus. Is this true? Thank you sooo much.

Well my period is 2 weeks late.. The last time I was this late was when I was pregnant with my son! I took a pregnancy test when I was a week late but it was negative, I was just curious is it possible that it may not show up then? I have takin 3 test within that week but I haven't taken anymore since I was exactly a week late... Anyone else ever been 2 weeks late and it showed you were pregnant even though it was negative at one week! I am just a little confused, any input on this would be greatly appreciated!

Okay, I am so angry about this: I just miscarriaged. I was 3 months, and because I didn't naturally expell the tissue, I had to have a D&C. At any rate, I took a couple days off for that and my employer was annoyed that I needed time off. Now that I'm back at work, they're hounding me about when I'm going to get pregnant again, if I'm trying to concieve, etc. It's horrible and is really upsetting me. Legally, can they do this? Can they ask me these questions? (they did not know I was pregnant, until I miscarried, and I think they were mad I didn't tell them- but this is exactly why I didn't tell anyone!) Do you know of any websites I can go to that state that they cannot ask me about my plans to get pregnant again? Thank you!

ok i have adopted a baby and she will be 3 in a few months and now her birth mother is pregnat again and the reason why i adopted the baby was because the mom gave her to me cause she couldnt handle her and take care of her and she is still in the same postition now that she was in then so i guess my question is how can i ask her if she will let me adopt this baby to or if she is going to be able to take care of her. but i want to ask her without any hurt feelings

I had my period and it was abnoramlly light and short. I had a major trama and lost some blood from the surgery and such. But is it possible that I am pregnant? Oh - also - when I had my surgery I told the doctor that I wasn't pregnant because I didn't think I was. Do they test to make sure before preforming a surgery?

ok, well last month i thought i was pregnant and before i got a test i started my period.. it was 2 weeks late.

this month i thought the same thing cuz it was late and i waited 3 weeks this time since it was last last month... then it started

the periods i have though are really heavy for 2 days then they stop on day 3. my normal periods are 5 days, heavy in the middle....

could i still be pregnant if i'm having my periods?? i have no other pregnancy signs that i know of... i mean i'm fatigued alot and my boobs are slightly larger but not noticably... only to me

She is 15 weeks pregnant, although last week I talked to her and she was only 10...so that's weird; but everything is I'm sick! I have severe morning sickness and all I do is throw up! Well, last time I checked, throwing up is normal when you are pregnant! I'm pregnant! I can't work! I can't do this, I can't do that! And, she thought she was fat before she got pregnant, and was always trying to lose weight and never could, but all of a sudden, she lost 30lbs!! That cannot be good while you are pregnant. I think she just wants attention but she is acting like she is dying! She's just pregnant! And I am NOT jealous as my husband says so please don't tell me that.

Ok. My period is due next week, I am on the patch but do not use it perfectly if you know what I mean. My last period was March 7th and only lasted 1 day. My boyfriend and I only use the patch as protection. For the last 5 days or so I've been extremely tired, light headed and now my breasts have begun to swell and they hurt alittle sometimes and today I feel as if I might throw up. I feel that I am but am scared as I had miscarried at 3 months before. Plus I am unsure due to the fact that I am on the patch. I am also 23 years old.Anyone with any thoughts please let me know thanks.

i need to know all the details about morning sickness, like when it starts, is there a certain age, is it genetic? also, is it too late to have an abortion once you get morning sickness? and can you miss yoour period 2 months, have morning sickness, and still not be pregnant??

I can NOT go to the doctor and I can NOT get a home pegnancy test because I dont have any money to spend and all the money I have goes towards gas in my car so I have no money to spend and I think I am pregnant. I'm 31 weeks(with first) along and my boyfriend mom already drives me crazy. She tries to control everything and everything has to be her way. With my own parents it wasn't like that i was very independent and still need my space, I feel like i'm going to go nuts once the baby comes... has any anyone had any similar situation... Today is the date my AF is supposed to be here. I've had 3 BFP's (faint but getting darker) in the past week, and yesterday I VERY FAINTLY started spotting. Today, it didn't get any worse, just still spotting (I put a pad in and nothing has gotten on it all day). I am cramping on and off, but very mild and doesn't seem to effect the spotting.

Could this be implantation bleeding? If so, how long should it last? My first pregnancy had NO bleeding whatsoever the entire time, so that is why I'm confused.

I am 28 weeks pregnant. My belly has been the size it was supposed to be. I just went to the doctor a little less than a week ago, and I have to go back in another week Because I go every two weeks at this point. Anyway, I woke up a couple of days ago and it was way flatter than normal, and it still is. No Bleeding or anything, and he is still moving. Should I call or wait for appointment in one week.

im preg my last period was in the first week of sept and i usly go for 7 days but only went 3 in sep and it was not heavy at all like usal so my first ultra sound showed i was 17 weeks this was in jan so my baby showed june 10th as being born but i think he will be born before then because im already huge haveing contrations on and off but I didnt find out I was preg until oct 24 throw blood not urain so any way I have already dropped to and this is my sec preg I did carry him high know its low so should he be here soon... like maybe May...and its hard to breath at times could i be fother along them the doc thinks... and can not eating right affect your utras from growing and the baby too......

Ive seen mention they are dialated when still fairly early - i.e. 32/33 weeks. How would u know if u were? This is my first so excuse the ignorance of the question, just wondering how it works

I need to know if I could be pregnant? I have asked this question several times but I havent gotten may answers. I had my period on the 8th of this month, my husband and I had unprotected sex on the 19,then21-24th. I have sore tender brest,body achs,nausiea,vomiting,and fitigue could I be having pregnancy symptoms or is it to early.I have heard that after you have been pregnant a couple of times you notice symptoms a whole lot sooner and this would make #4 for me!

I know I haved asked 100 questions!!! I am going to the doctor's tomorrow...100% effaced, no dilation, but good strong contrations.

I want to get a date when he will induce me, and if baby gets much bigger will he do it soon. What do I say?? How do I get them to push this along??

I am currently 5 weeks pregnant, about 8 weeks ago I had a miscarriage at 5 weeks. Before I started trying for a baby I went to the gym 3 or 4 times a week and did quite strenuous exercises. Now I am pregnant I am really concerned as to what exercise is safe to do, I am petrified that if I do too much I could cause myself to miscarry, but at the same time I still want to keep fit. Anyone know what exercises I can do?

Hi there. im 32 weeks pregnant amd was wondering about baby movements at this stage. Some books say u should be able to count 10 moves every hour and some say 10 moves every day? which one is it? My baby has been moving everyday, throughout the day, but certianly not 10 every hour! Some days she is quieter than others and some days the movements are less strong than others. im seeing midife tomorrow and plan on talking to her about it, but could do with some advice beforehand
