Ok. My period is due next week, I am on the patch but do not use it perfectly if you know what I mean. My last period was March 7th and only lasted 1 day. My boyfriend and I only use the patch as protection. For the last 5 days or so I've been extremely tired, light headed and now my breasts have begun to swell and they hurt alittle sometimes and today I feel as if I might throw up. I feel that I am but am scared as I had miscarried at 3 months before. Plus I am unsure due to the fact that I am on the patch. I am also 23 years old.Anyone with any thoughts please let me know thanks.

The only thing you can do is wait and take a home pregnancy test or call your Dr to schedule a blood test which can detect a pregnancy 6-8 days after ovulation. If you buy First Response that can detect a pregnancy 5 days before your missed period.

You should take an at-home pregnancy test,or make a doctor's appointment to have them give you a pregnancy test, becuase if you are pregnant and still wearing the patch, it could be bad for the fetus. If your not pregnant it sounds like you might need to switch your form of birth control since you say you "don't use the patch perfectly". I also heard bad things about the patch, causing a high risk of blood clots. I use nuva ring, its good for people who forget, which is what it sounds like you do. You put in for 3 weeks, take it out on week 4, get your period during that 4th week n then put in a new one for another 3 weeks. I've been on it for a year and a half and its great. Here's the website if you want to know more. Good luck

all of your pregnancy symptoms could also be symptoms of and upcoming period as well. I felt the same way last month and got myself all worked up. the more you think u could be pregnant, the more u start to recognize the signs. Wait it out, any pregnancy test you take won't be accurate until you're late anyway. But I'd be willing to bet you'll have a period. good luck. And another small piece of advice, if u don't use it perfectly, u might as well be not using it at all. The patch and pill are only effective if used consistently.

Ok well I was on the patch for a long time. I took it off and put it on correctly! But still I got pregnant. I would get off that as soon as possible if I was you! I do not like how it works and they are trying to recall the patch. I had my first peroid when i was pregnant it was just really spotty and not normal but I didnt think anything of it because i was on the patch! Well it didnt work I was pregnant! So good luck and you are fine with being on the patch if you are preg just get off it asap!

Yes it is possible to get pregnant while on the patch. It happened to me, I was waiting on my period to come and it never did so I took a pregnancy test and it was positive, I went to the doctor the next week to make sure and it was also positive. Take a pregnancy test or go to the doctor. Good luck.

ok, did u know that the patch isnt very realiable to start with as i wanted to go on it but was advised against. Secondly if you arent using it properly thenit is self inflicte that you are!!!
well as you are using the patch it mite be side effects of the patch or it mite be that you are pregant. i would wait until your period is due than test for pregnacy. but my friend got preganant and every test came back negative for 4 mths.
sounds like extrelely bad pms or your up the duff

Wow, this is pretty scary. You need to go to the doctor, have them do a pregnancy test and if you are pregnant they can help you right then and there. If you go and you're not "prego" than they can helpy ou figure out what is going on with your body. Either way you need to make a doctor appt. ASAP. If your pregnant and on the patch thats not good for the baby. I hope all ends well for you! =-)

I would discontinue using the patch until you can get a pregnancy test. Your symptoms sound like the ones I had during early pregnancy.
