I can't agree with FaZizzle more....It hasn't even been 2 weeks. Right now you just need to concentrate on breast-feeding (hopefully) and taking care of your little one. My first pregnancy, I gained 33 pounds and lost all but 6 by my 6 week visit with no excercise. Right now you still have a good 2-4 pounds of extra blood in your system. Give it time and after your 6 week check-up, then re-evaluate your weight and decide an excercise plan then....CONGRATS!!!

March 16 was less than 2 weeks ago!! Give yourself a break. I doubt you are getting any sleep, let alone finding time to exercise. You really shouldn't exert yourself for 6 weeks. Before then you should take walks with the baby (just don't expose him/her to too much sun). Over the next few weeks you will start to lose weight (especially if you are breastfeeding) if you are eating right. It took 9 months to put all that weight on..give it a little bit of time to come off.

Any activity will help you lose the weight. Take your baby for a walk, you'll get the same effects. I'd say a treadmill would be better - only cuz you are working upper and lower body (you swing your arms when you walk). Just burn more calories than you take in - look at self.com for their fitness calculators for more help.
BUT - remember, if you are nursing, you can't really diet or you will lose your milk supply. One more sacrifice us moms make - stay fat to give our babies the best nutrition.
Most moms take a year to get back to their pre-pregnancy size, so give yourself a break - you just had a baby two weeks ago!

Honey, you JUST had a baby!.
1) Are you breastfeeding? Don't diet.
2) Talk to your doctor before starting ANY diet or exercise program. You JUST had a baby!
Right now it sounds like your having the baby blues. Give yourself at LEAST 6 months to get back to your prepregnancy weight. Your size will come back later.
What will give you a better result is to spend time with your baby and concentrate less on exercise and more on your baby. Take walks with her and just eat in moderation. Don't go extreme right now. You are going to need your energy for those late night feedings.

Um you just had a baby, cut yourself some slack. It takes most people a year to get back in shape, start out slow and don't over do it. Please wait your 6 weeks to re coop before doing anything though, starting exercise before your body is ready could be dangerous, your uterus could actually fall out or you could hemorrhage. Take it easy you deserve a little break after all you just created a life, be proud, your a momma and I'm sure once that baby gets to moving you lose plenty.

I'm not a professional, but I think a treadmill would give better results because you move your whole body by walking, but with a bike, you are mostly using your legs. Just my opinion.
Congrats on the baby, and goodluck with the weight loss, (but remember, you're beautiful anyways!)

an exercise bike. you'll be able to ride for longer, and then your body will have a better chance of reaching glucose deprivation and you'll start losing fat. Also, pilates is really good for toning muscle, you should think about getting an at home pilates video.
