I am so sorry for your loss. I can't imagine...

After a delivery of full term it usually takes about 3 days for the milk to go away. That goes for the colostrum and if you breast fed.

Bleeding can take up to 6 weeks to stop.

First, I am SOOOOO sorry for your loss. Usually the bleeding stops after about 3-6 weeks. It's different for everyone. It's not actually a period, it's your uterus bleeding from where the placenta broke away from the wall. You can't have sex, use tampons, or douche while it's healing, because it's actually an open wound and can get infected easily. The leaking of the breasts stops completely after a couple of months or so. Again, it's different from person to person.

You need to bind your self...take a bath towel and tie it around you pinning it so it stays ...this needs to be tight enough to almost make it unbearable and hard to breathe, do this for a few days and it will stop. DO not put any warm compresses or stimulates to the breast so that it will keep producing.
This is a great question, can I get you to come register for free and post this on our site? All of us have been there but there is a particular member, the site owner that has been in your very shoes. So since she is the closest to this that we have it would be interesting to see others answers too.
