If the guy didn't have to pay child support, why would he care about whether or not the child was wanted? I mean, it seems to me this little plan would backfire because then guys could go out having as much sex with whomever they wanted to and not worry about anything down the line. Women aren't going to care because if Daddy doesn't have to pay up, the state government then does. You have the welfare department, which would then be drained of resources and funds because there are all these babies that no one is paying for, STD rates going up (birthcontrol rates actually going down), the economy getting totally screwed because all of the resources are drained, plus can you imagine the lawsuits and the drain on tax money just for that? Women claiming they signed the contract under duress, they didn't understand, etc. etc. Women getting married for the right reasons, pops out a few kids and then man trades her in for a younger, newer model so to speak and jilting the wife, leaving her to raise the children on her own.
Honestly, that is a horrible and bottom lined (though maybe not intentional) sexist idea.

What u r not understanding is that there is no child that is unwanted. All children are wanted by someone, just may not be the actual parents who do.
Adoption is the alternative to both of your solutions.

NO! To avoid unwanted children, men should refrain from having sex til they're ready to have a baby.

No, I think your proposal is a little unfair. Women have to have the babies and men will have nothing to do with them? I think it would make men more scummy and women would have more unwanted children.

no. because no birth control is 100%. not the pill, not the shot, not condoms.
so if a woman got pregnant, its not necessarily her or the fathers fault. so until they develop a contraceptive that is fool-proof 100%, it'll never happen.

No...that's like thinking if you tell your kids not to have sex til they're married....they won't. HA very, very, very rare. Plus that only punishes the woman....men have a choice too, and what about rape?? STUPID
