The pain feels like gas, or a musle, but I don't know, I am worried about a miscarrage, Maybe I'm worring to much. What are the sings of a miscarrage, I heard that miscarrage belly pain, is so bad that you can't even stand up. Can some one please help.

Im 37 weeks pregnant and i jsut ate some cheesy pasta.. I keep getting bad pains right at the top of my uterus... right in the ribs.. This happened the other day too, i cant remember what i was eating.. So my question is.. Do you guys get any pains when you eat things towards the end of your pregnancy.?

Another question is.. have u ever had to much amniotic fluid in you? if so what did they do and what happened?

I feel like I am swelling to the point that my skin is going to crack, but looking at it, it isn't that bad. There isn't much swelling at all, (definately not an abnormal amount) Should I be concerned at all? I think the actual swelling is a sign of serious things, not just feeling like you are, but I don't know. I hate this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I go to the doctor tomorrow and last week when I went I was dilated to a 3 and hope to be a 5 tomorrow, do you think that they will keep me? Should I bring my bag?

this is kinda complicated, after havin my son dec 05 i had the contraceptive injection and i was due to have again in april 06 but i neva went coz we wanted try for another baby, then i didnt have a period for 6 months and then when i did have a period they were kinda messed up sometimes i wouldnt have 1 for 2 months or id have 2 in one month. my last period though however was ontime. my last period was 24th feb and i just took a p test just messin around not knowin what i actually wanted to find out. anyway i followed the instructions and i have a strange result. i can c the test line as a bold pink line the rest of the visual area where the pinkness is is still a faint light pink but where the pregnant line is its white, kinda confused coz it is showing a line where the pregnant line is its just white and not pink, but is only showing white coz the background area is pinky, does this mean im preg or not or will i need to wait a couple of weeks and do another test.

I have often wondered if being an overweight parent would ensure a large child? does anyone know what percent of overweight parents(in U.S.A.) have a heavy child and if having more than one child, what percent of second, third child would be heavy too, if any?? No fat jokes please!!

there are rumors that you can eat certain foods to induce labor. Are any of these true? Doctors say they just cause cramping and therefor it's just rumored that they start labor. Anyone know about this?

hi, i know that in the begining of pregnancy shoulder pain can indicate an ectopic pregnancy and major problems.
but i'm 35 weeks pregnant and for the past month or so i have had a very sore pain in my left shoulder, like around the shoulder blade area.
i was concered and saw a doctor who advised it just was a muscular pain and would go away but this was 3 weeks ago and the pain is still as bad if not worse.
i have my docs tomorrow again and i will ask about it but i was just wondering, if anyone else has experienced this, could it just be a nerve or something ?

I work in a daycare teaching 1 and 2 year olds and I have 10 in my class. So I am always having to get on the floor, stand up, get on the floor, stand up, ect. and not to mention having to lift all of them all the time. And I would say my smallest is about 25 lbs. I just want to know how long you all thought I should work for because I am starting to have a really hard time at work and by the time I get home, I am more than exhausted. I go back to the doctor next Monday but I wanted to hear some other people's opinions first.

How soon after you’re pregnant do you start experiencing morning sickness. I suspect I might be but it is way to soon for me to take a test but in the past couple days I’ve gotten nauseous for no real reason could it be me just imagining or could I really already be experiencing morning sickness already? What are some other signs that you might be pregnant?

My TSH was .02 on the 5th day past ovulation(conception), and I'm now 17 days pregnant. Based on the low value of .02, my endo asked me to stop taking the 50mcg/day syntrhoid now, but I know pregnant women usually need thyroid meds increase instead of decrease or even stopping taking meds as the endo suggested. I do not have any symtoms of synthroid overdose, except heartburn that might come from pregnancy. My heart rate is 80/minute, and I usually have constipation rather than diarrhea. I requested a new thyroid test to see the new TSH, but the doc insisted on putting me off synthroid for 3 weeks and retest by then???? What should I do? I heard it's dangerous to stop taking synthroid while pregnant and the most important thing is I do not have any symtoms of overdose, I have pretty normal heart rate and I feel tired & sleepy all the time.

I had a big show a week ago and today i am cleaning like crazy for some reason. I guess it is the nesting instinct. Just out of interest, how long was it for you ladies before the actual labour began? Particularly interested about the nesting instinct as i know the show sign can be a couple of weeks before. that is my biggest worry, I'll be in labor and not know it, and have the baby on the floor of walmart. So my question is, what do contractions exactly feel like? I've heard bad period cramps, but.. I want a more specific answer. Thanks

I was with my then boyfriend on January 21st and then i was with my ex on the 25th (i know, mistake!), but here is where my problem lies. My last menstrual period was January 10, 2007 I went to the doctor for an ultrasound which predicted my at 7 weeks give or take 2 days. The doctor said that i would deliver around the 25th of October and my date of conception occured on the 1st of February, but i took a prego test on the 13th of February and it showed up positve so who is the likely father?
