If he's busy kicking -- you're looking good. It's when baby in this stage of the game quits kicking and you feel no movement that it would be a time to worry. If baby quits kicking any time from now until birth - do the tapping test, and if still no movement - go directly to ER because the baby could be under some stress....such as cord wrapped around neck.

But you clearly said he's a busy little fellow so I'd say you've been doing a great job and he's just quite excited about making his entrance into this world.

Countdown is on girly!! :o)

No I dont think that there is anything that you should be worried about. I remember when I was this far along with both of my pregnancies they slowed down alot during the last month. The reason being is tht they have run out of room in your belly. Now this doesn't mean that they should stop kicking for a day....just that it should slow down, not notice as many kicks as before. If it stops all together you might want to call the Dr. There could possibly be something he needs to check! GOOD LUCK!

if he is still kicking i wouldnt be worried, drink juice, poke your belly, lay on your left side and see if he becomes more active.... you know best if you are worried contact your doctore he/she will do an NST or a BPP to see if the baby is okay. When you are drawing this close to your due date it's normal for them to slow a bit, bcus there is less room for them to move around so they aren't somersaulting anymore. Also the baby is more than likley in position to be pushed through the birth canal. i say it's just normal but if you are restless over it contact your doctor.

For about 2 weeks before she was born my neice would not stop moving! I thought more poor sister would die. Worry when he's NOT moving. He's probably just ready to get out of there! Hope you have a beautiful baby boy soon!

They get really active and it's really noticeable when you get so far into your pregnancy. He could be reacting to something you've eaten, or he could just be having a "busy" day. It's nothing to worry about.

There is nothing wrong with that, just make sure that he doesn't stop, then there could be something wrong.
