I feel like I am swelling to the point that my skin is going to crack, but looking at it, it isn't that bad. There isn't much swelling at all, (definately not an abnormal amount) Should I be concerned at all? I think the actual swelling is a sign of serious things, not just feeling like you are, but I don't know. I hate this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Go to the doctor NOW. Make an appointment. Can you take your blood pressure? Take it.

Swelling is normal, but excess swelling is a sign of preeclampsia.

Don't overeat, but I would go see someone as soon as possible. Call a nurse hotline for more information.

I know it stinks, but you're almost done! See the doctor as soon as you can though. It may be nothing and normal for your body, or it may be more serious.

Darlin, thats how it is. Wait until you are two weeks away...ugh.

Make sure you are not eating salt, it's hidden by the way in canned foods and soups and veggies and soda. Salt makes you retain water more than preggo already does. So be extra careful to avoid any salt you can from now on.

Be sure you are getting enough water.

When you do sit or lie down, get those feet UP. If you can, lie down on the couch and put the feet UP on the arm of the couch, so they are above your heart's level.

Hang on mom!

It sounds to me like you have toximia - high blood pressure. Which makes you retain a lot of water. You need to get in and see your OB soon so they can determine if they want to induce you early for safety of you and the baby.
Plus if you are not feeling well you really want to be sure the baby is safe and out of harms way.

"This too shall pass", unfortunately it will get worse before it gets better. What you are going through right now is why most Moms go NUTS when one of their kids gets in their face and yells, 'IT'S MY LIFE, I'LL DO AS I WANT' Best of luck to you Butterfly, even if you're feeling a little like a pelican just now!
