You should have an appointment to follow-up with your OB/GYN approximately 6 weeks after your baby is born. He or she will let you know at that point whether or not you should begin having sex again. I would definitely wait until your post-partum follow-up appointment.

Most doctors will advise you to wait about 6 weeks before having sex after giving birth, that is what my doctor told me. Double check this with your doctor at you post-birth check up.

It all depends. It depends on the 6 week appointment and what the doctor saids. It may take more time if you are deciding to go with birth control . Just ask your doctor

Doctors suggest 6 weeks. Honestly, you wont want to have sex for much longer becuase it hurts for quite some time after the fact.

After six week check-up if o.k.'d by dr. but there are ton's of other fun things to do inbetween if you feel like it. And use PROTECTION unless you want to get preg. again right away!! I know plenty of women who have 2 kids born in the same year!!

At your 6 week post baby check up, your doctor will check you, to see if you're healing properly.
Then, they will tell you if it's safe, of if you should wait a few more weeks.
But, remember to USE PROTECTION

when ever you feel reay hun.. it was different with my first two, i waited about 8 weeks and with my second it was only about 2 or 3 weeks ,, everyone is different it depends how u feel about it afterwards!
