Pregnancy - March 2007

I am scared as hell of becoming a parent.... dont get me wrong, I wanted adn planned for this but as I go along the pregnancy path, I have started worrying that I wont be a good parent or I wont instill good morals ect ect. I have alot of love for the wee thing that is growing inside of me, so much so that I can get quite emotional about it(hormones?or justa fool?)LOL

I worry that I wont be able to get that happy medium of being a friend to he/she but also be the voice of authority if and when a situation arises. Anyone else feel this way?

I have a scheduled c-section at the beginning of April (it's not elective.) I need to know, bascially, what I need to do to prepare to make it easier afterwards (such as what I need to do around the house, etc.) I'd also like to know the amount of time it takes to recover generally, how scary the experience itself is, the amount of pain, etc. Please only reply if you have had a c-section or some kind of relevant experience. I have read all the textbook stuff, I just need to know how it really is.

I'm asking becasue I have some light brown spotting and it's already day 4 after my missed period and I've been having a lot of pregnancy symptons for the past 2 1/2 weeks. Symptons are: back hurting, going to the bathroom a lot, cramping in my stomach, fatigue, moodiness, constipation, dizziness, and headaches.

I took a prego test like 4 days ago and 2day is my due date and i didnt get my peroid.... but it was like store brand.... could it be wrong... i mean im not getting any cramps or anyhitng that i would get b/4 my peroid .... i just really what a baby...

I just recieved a call from a good friend of mine. She needs a sitter from 2:15 p.m. until 10:15 p.m. every day except Thursdays and Fridays. She has 5 kids, ages 5,4, 2 (twins) and a newborn. She is willing to pay me $150 a month. Now I know that isn't crap for pay.. here is the real problem. I am 30 weeks pregnant with my 4th baby. I have a history of preterm labor and preeclampsia and am supposed to be "taking it easy" so I don't have too many more problems. I know I have to say no... but how? I don't want to hurt their feelings.. I just can't do it. What would you do? How would you say no? Any advice?? Thanks

I was at the hospital for some testing and they noticed that my unborn sons heart has an arrhythmia. They called my doctor and the doctor told me that it is very common and not to worry about it. Could she not be telling me something so i dont worry? Has this ever happend to anyone?

My friends are throwing a wild bachorette party for me next week and no one knows Im pregnant. Its way too soon to tell people and Im getting married in 2 weeks so Id like to wait, if I tell my friends the whole world will know, but I dont want to drink anything, how do I fool them or what do I do??? I am 37 weeks pregnant and have just recently been swelling in my hands and feet. I know that swelling is all a part of it but i didnt realize how painful it was. my hands hurt so bad that i can barley close them and my feet are the same way. everyone keeps telling me two things 1) its normal and 2) you could be getting toximia can anyone tell me if they have experianced the same thing this is my first pregnancy

Ok So i have a weird and personal question!! I am 36 weeks pregnant. I have been scared to have sex for almost a month now. Not sure why. I have two sons already and I am pregnant with my third child, I feel that I am having a girl, just because I feel alot different from the other pregnancies. Do u think u can really "feel" the sex of your unborn child? Me and my husband didn't want to have more children , but we believe that God gave us this child for a reason and I believe it is my little girl!!!:).....Does anyone think I'm just super hopefull and could jinks myself for wishing to hard for my daughter?

and please don't say "tell your doctor" i am just wondering if anyone else has/had these things. is it braxton hicks? i don't remember these in pregnancy #1 but his pregnancy has been harder all the way around. basically, menstrual (light) cramps accompanied by tightness in lower belly. anyone else?
