A few here: Try to keep your caffeine intake low -- preferably none at all. You will be amazed at how calming that can be. Also, drink plenty of water, but don't forget your milk and orange juice. Get some exercise. Even if it's a 20-minute walk each day. Take advantage of your uncontrollable urge to sleep. Don't "prepare" your nipples for nursing. Some people say you should rub a towel over them to "toughen them." Don't do it. There are natural oils on your breasts that are a protective layer to help you when you nurse. Don't worry about stretch marks. There's nothing proven to help them. They are genetic. If your mother had them, you most likely will have them. I got lucky and only got a couple. They fade and could go away with time. Congrats and good luck!

For myself, reading relaxes me, or writing in a journal. Writing in a journal is also a nice thing to have as your baby grows up. You can show him/her what your pregnancy was like with them. You can also try some breathing techniques, my job is very stressful, and they suggested this at a conference. Listening to mellow music is also something I do. There are alot of different creams you can buy for stretch marks. I know that cocoa butter or shea butter creams are said to help.

For stress relievers:
Walking and excersing helps release serentone. Not that you want to do any of that.
Ice Cream and getting your hair cut, helps trust me!!!
A night by yourself, no baby's dad, nobody else just you watching movies and makeing every crazy food you want!!! It's a total stress reliever!
For Stretch Marks:
Anything with Vitamin E will help with your stretch marks- believe it or not the more Vitamin E you have in your diet the more elastic your skin becomes- Keep that in mind if you are worried about stretch marks!!

sleep. sleep as much as you can. That is what I am trying to do now because in a few weeks I know I will be deprived! Also, in the future when you do your baby registry-actually go to the store, not just the internet, you'd be amazed at the in-store selection, I am registered at babiesRus, and I picked out my crib online and had is shipped only to realize how inconveniant it is, its just pretty!-I wish I would have taken the time to go and look at them! They have some awesome ones at babiesRus. Also, I'm not sure what kind of complection you have, but try using the Jergen's natural glow tanning lotion. It brings out your color and will make you feel better about yourself!(aLso, it diminishes stretch marks-which I have plenty of!) Good Luck!!

Lots of deep breathing for a destresser, this will also help in labor. For stretch marks, try Palmer's cocoa butter products, nothing will keep them away but this will help lessen the problem. Congratulations and good luck!

You need to figure out why you are feeling so stressed and deal with that. Yes, a bath will calm you. You can drink hot decaf teas to relax. You could go for a walk or do something that brings you enjoyment and relaxes you.

well first of all.....no is spelled Know.....
As for the strechmarks they are tears of your skin from the inside out. No lotion or baby oil is going to prevent that or make them go away. They will fade over time although some ppl claim that cocoa butter helps my doc said its all mental.
As for relaxing....do something you enjoy. read a book or decorate the babies room. I like doing crafts so thats what i do.
