All I know is that I "knew" from the beginning of each pregnancy what I was having.
It was very difficult for me to decide on a boy's name when I was pregnant with my daughter, Anjelika. My husband and I knew that we wanted to name a son after his friend Adam, but for some reason I just was not thrilled with that name with that pregnancy. When I was pregnant for the second time, it was "Baby Adam" throughout the entire pregnancy...no other name would do, and no girls names ever came into play. Anjelika (who was 2 at the time) would talk to Baby Adam while he was in the womb and so would I.
Anjelika is now 24, and Adam is 21. I had amniocenteses with both pregnancies and refused to find out what sex they were. I wanted to know if I was right at the time of their birth. It was no surprise to me when he was born, just as it was no surprise to me when she was born.

With my first pregnancy i had a boy now pregnant with second baby and the entire pregnancy has been different than the first. My body looks different, i had real bad morning sickness, with my first i had hardly any.
I couldn't even wash my dishes, sometimes i would even throw the pot away because i couldn't bare the smell!
I just knew it was going to be a girl. I hope so because three different doctors have told me the same thing.
Also boy, girl runs in my family and my husbands.
I'm a true believer!

I really wanted a little boy, and I got myself all psyched up and convinced that the baby was a boy. Then I started having these really vivid dreams that it was a girl....and the ultrasound definitely showed a little girl! The look on my husband's face made me forget all about the little boy I had been dreaming about.
I think that it's definitely possible to know what you're having. In my case my subconscious knew better than I did I guess. I hope you get the little girl you're wanting!

Yes, you are going to wish the daughter away. Trust me. im 36 weeks pregnant. Though i was having a boy. Completely different pregnancy then my daughters but almost identical from my son. I thought for sure I was going to have another boy. Nope, Im having another girl. 8-10 ultra sound proved so!! Good luck and congradulations!!

Yes, you could be setting yourself up for a great disappointment. There are tests that will tell you the sex of your baby if your REALLY want to know. On the other hopeful hand it is said that a girl sits differently than a boy in the uterus. Good luck.

I wondered the same thing. I thought from the day i concieved it would be a boy, and i dreamed about him and what he looks like. My husband who is in iraq even had a dream it was a boy, and he looked the same as my dream boy did. well so far the ultra sound says its a boy. so unless my little girl has a growth in a horrible spot-its a boy. so yeah-mother intuition has a part. But my mom also though my brother was a girl, even after the doc told her it was a boy. haha, you never really know!

You could be right. I am praying for the same thing. I have 2 sons a step son and 1 daughter. I am praying for a little girl for my daughter. As long as you pray on it God will put in you what he has instore for that child and always remember that. Good luck to you and I hope we both get what we pray for.

I am having a boy and I KNEW I was having a boy from day 1, I had that gut feeling. Even though I wanted a girl, I just knew he was a boy! His daddy got his way. We love em the same any how, right??

i have 3 boys and pregnant with my 4th and i stopped "wishful" thinking of a girl...even though it would be wonderful. Don't think to hard about it beacause you don't want to be disappointed if it's not a girl. if god intended for you to have a girl, he'll send you one. but you can't feel the gender. you can carry differently though.
