Yes I have had round ligament pains, those REALLY hurt, no these are mild, and feel just like menstrual cramps...which is freaky because that's how my labor felt when it started! BUT - i've had it for a week, and i don't think it's early labor.

I've had these and got pretty worried myself and found myself running to the bathroom to see if I was bleeding because the pain was so much like menstrual cramping but my doctor said this was ok and not to worry as I would have alot of different pains as my body adjusts to accomodate my growing baby. He said the ones I should be concerned about are pains that are reoccuring ever so often and come stronger. I don't think it is early labour either. Just make sure and mention them to your doctor on your next visit and try to take it easy because stressing would only make things worse.

That sounds like braxton hicks to me. I am not a doctor though. I had my first child at 6 months. I was doubled over with pain though. I have a high tolerance for pain but that was hurting. I know you don't want to hear it but just to be safe I would just call your doctor to make sure its nothing more than braxton hicks. Take if from someone who had a 2lb. baby you do not want you or the baby to go through that. Good luck and it is so much better to be safe and ask.

Yes, they could be braxton hicks. If your experiencing tightness then that's what a BH feels like. The cramping is just your body making room for baby. I'm 26 weeks with my fourth and I know exactly what you're talking about. I've been feeling the same way. Just try to stay hydrated and rest when needed/possible.
Good Luck!

BTW - I didn't have BH with my other kids so when it happened this time around I was like Whoa- what was that. They started at 17 weeks for me.

Yes, I had these and I did ask my doctor. A stupid question is still the one not asked and keeps you unintelligible. This is your body getting itself ready for this baby to be born. Like a type of "exercise" that your body does for itself. Just don't ignore these pay attention to them. The next step could be braxton hicks.

Every pregnacy is different. I've had 4 of them...all different. You may just be having braxon hicks. You also may want to just take it easy. I know you don't want to hear it but call your doctor for an appt. if you are still worried. Us here in yahoo answers can sometimes be yahoo's oursleves. Know what I mean? Good luck! I'm sure you're fine.

Could be braxton hicks. Especially if you were intimate the night before.
