Pregnancy - March 2007

I am almost 32 weeks pregnant. I have A LOT of health issues with my pregnancies (this one included). I have NOT been put on bed rest YET with this one. So... why is it that EVERYONE knows what I should do but NOONE bothers to ask me or my hubby? For my moms birthday we are having a party at my sisters, I had to go shopping to find something 70s for me and my family to wear... but, according to my family, I was too sick to go to brunch but not too sick to watch my sisters 2 kids while she went to brunch. (ages 2 and 3). Then for Easter we are getting together with the inlaws. My brother in law and my father in law were agruing over where to celebrate (bbq) that would be best for me. NOBODY asked ME what would work better. (I live across the street from my father in law and about 30 minutes away from my brother in law). It is driving me crazy!! Any suggestions on how to remind them that I can make a decision even pregnant? Thanks

I'm about 34/35 weeks pregnant, and I've been having Braxton Hicks contractions for 3 days now, but they aren't just a couple on and off, they start around 8 every night and go on until about midnight.

They aren't painful as such, but twinges "down there"...

Is this normal or should I get it checked out? Has it happened to anyone else? I have an appointment for a scan and check up on Friday, should I just wait until then?

So im diabetic and 38 weeks pregnant. I every so often have growth ultra sounds to see how big the baby is. About 3 weeks ago they did one and they said she was close to 6lbs. Today I go and they say about 6 lbs 4 ozs. SO they are basically saying she only has gained about 4-8 ozs in 3 weeks. Has anyone ever had a growth ultra sound, and then deliver and the weight be completly off?? Please!!

For females: Has anyone gotten a tattoo on their stomach or lower abdomin and then gotten pregnant? Does this ruin the skin with the tattoo? Or will it go back to the origional look?
I was thinking about getting a tattoo on both sides of my lower hips/abdomin.

With approx. 75,000 babies being aborted a year in Texas, I can see why mothers need to consider adoption. Surely there's not that many women being raped? Women should be more responsible. I hope the "paid adoption" bill gets passed, this is a good consideration.

I wants some opinions because my mom keeps telling me that having the baby natural does not take as long but an epidural takes extra hours because you can not feel anything. What's your thoughts on this situation? I have also heard that some people end up having back problems after getting an epidural.

i started a cold 2 days ago and last night i couldnt sleep because my throat was itchy and this morning i had to cough up something and i did and it was a little bit of blood. Is it dangerous or its just infected or something.? And i am pregnant also will it affect the baby>?

I was wondering ...how many people had a gut feeling that they were going to have a boy or a girl and happened to be correct in their thoughts? As it looks I am not going to be able to find out whether or not my child is a boy or a girl....I have a 75 % gut feeling it's a boy, how many people would say my gut feeling has value?

since the first time I had sex I had been worrying about pregnancy and I stressed about it 24/7..that was february 1st, used a condom and was during one of my periods...my next period came late, march 3...the 2nd day it was late I took a urine test at da docs and it was neg..but I still worried bcause I've read that theres a lot of false negatives and shorter and lighter periods mean u can be pregnant...

well now I've been urinating a lot more than usual, also I feel this pressure in my stomach like the upper stomach is swollen, pains near my left rib cage and lower back pain that sometimes runs to my left leg sometimes pain near my left ovary...can it be something to do with my kidneys or is pregnancy? it doesn't burn or bleed when I urinate, my period is due sometime around the 30th, but these pains started about 2 weeks ago..I've been under tremendous pressure thinkin I'm pregnant can that cause this?

Sharp pains in lower part of stomach sometimes left or right side(on and of).

sesitive nipples(not always)

Lower back pain

inceased appetite

frequent urination

bloated

irritable

fatigue

acne

headaches

tired and achy feeling waist down

I have had all these but not all at once.Period due next week.

I am 36 weeks pregnant and I can't get sleep because of acid reflux, going to the bathroom, and disturbing dreams. I have tried Tums and milk and everything else. I am 38 weeks pregnant with my first and scheduled to have a c-section in 5 days. My baby is HUGE 10+ pounds already and my pelvis is small, baby is measuring around 45 weeks as far as head size! So doctor thinks it's too risky to try to get him out the normal way. How long will I be in pain? Need Meds? Need help moving around? Not driving? any anything else you can think of! I am so excited to have my baby, but starting to worry about the aftermath of a c-section. Any info would be great! Thanks!

I have been on birth control for a year and a half and I take it at exactly the same time each day.

A few days ago I noticed that when I squeezed my right nipple a very small amount of white discharge appeared. It was not very thick, but every so slightly sticky. And it only came out of one nipple. I could not be pregnant....could I? What would be other causes of this?

I am 30 weeks pregnant, and I have been having some cramping in my lower stomach...actually it feels more like ongoing cramping....It's not horrible pain, but enough to make me uncomfortable. Also my lower back is really aching as well!! Could this just be from my stomach growing larger?? Also I have a slight discharge that has been going on for a few days now...it's yellow, and itches..is this a yeast infection? I have already had one yeast infection, and I didn't even know it...so I am not sure!? Thank you for all the help! This is my first baby....I have been through 3 miscarriages...and never made it this far, so everything worries me!! Thanks again!

Not just the skin either. My uterus is about 3 inches above my belly button at this point and it feels tight a lot too. Baby is kicking downward at this point (doctor said he's breach for now) but is it normal for my whole entire stomach to feel huge and tight?

No, I am not eating too much. I work out hard everyday so I'm depressed I've gained that much so early. I am a very short person (5ft 1) so I know that's why I'm showing so early but is it normal to have gained that much weight already?
