Everyone is a different. You need to call your OB & let them know your plug has come out. The next step is either increased contractions or water breaking. Once your water breaks you need to go to the hospital. Best of luck to you!!!

Sounds like you've started labor! Your contractions may come on quick or it could be several more days - it's so hard to say... call you doctor to let them know you lost your mucus plug. I hope all goes well for you!!

God luck

ah, due dates. the bain of every pregnant woman!
they are not reliable indicators most of the time!
always give yourself 2 extra weeks, especially if your 1st baby.
once plug is lost, inform midwife, but dont get too excited yet!
can be 2 weeks before 'proper' labour starts, or it can be immediately.
sometimes we have Braxton Hicks contractions in the last week/s of pregnancy, which help to get the womb ready for birth.
these can take your breath away sometimes, or wake you at night, but real contractions have you doubled over and often swearing!!
keep timing the contractions. they need to be every 10 mins, and STRONG before you call midwife. even with my 3rd baby i had 2 false alarms, calling midwives out (had home birth) twice but they faded away again!
ask midwife if can pop in to see her, get an examination, find out about how dilated you might be, how far effaced you are (softening of cervix). this can be a good indicator. but can wander about for weeks being 3 cms dilated and not in labour!!
when feel contractions, walk around, keep upright as long as possible. when in labour for real, do not lie on back!!! the cocyx bone cannot move back properly to allow baby's head out enough which is why many women have longer births than necessary!!! sit on the bed, or sqaut on it, or get on hands and knees.
i hope you meet your baby soon!!!
have fun! good luck. welcome to parenting!!

You are in labor darling. Now you should start to time your contractions. Remember 5 min apart get to your hospital. You should call your OB- GYN to let them know what just happened.

it can take up to two long week f or you to go into labor after you loose your plug, however, sounds like you're on your way there and considering how far along you are i think you're going to have a baby soon:) good luck

time your contractions. See how you are feeling, call your dr and see what he/she says. Walk that might make the contractions start up stronger than you will know it is time to get to the hospital. Good Luck and congratulations!

Depends on if this is your first class or not. You should just sit back and relax and wait for this baby to come! Good Luck!
