I am an RN but not an expert. I would imagine it would be a small cappilliary (tiny blood vessel) that may have burst in your throat. It may have been itchy from something you have eaten or from an allergy and become inflammed. The other alternative is that you may have had a slight nose bleed from your cold which has run down the back of your throat overnight an become lodged in your throat.
I very much doubt it is dangerous and it would be very unlikely to harm the baby. However if you have other symptoms such as a fever, sweats or chills or it continues or becomes worse I would see your doctor sooner rather than later.

I dont think it would affect the baby, and i hope the blood thing is not serious, its maybe your cough is harsh and heavy that it causes the little bit of blood to come. But i prefer you go the doctor its better. GET WELL SOON

You could have coughed up a little blood if you've been sick alot and your throat is already raw. Your baby should be fine. Try to get some rest.

Most likely the blood that you coughed up is because the lining in your throat is irritated. Your baby will be fine---don't worry---it will actually help the baby's immune system in the long run.

I doubt it is anything to be concerned about, but I would call your GP and ask them. Make sure you let them know you are pregnant.

If you are concerned, quit screwing around on Yahoo looking for a medical diagnosis and see a qualified physician.
