As long as the baby is head down by the time you deliver its fine. If he's not a lot of times the dr can turn him in your uterus by pressing on your stomach. They say that you can tell when a baby "drops" because it becomes easier to breath. It's called lightening. But with my son he dropped at 36 weeks and I didn't know until the dr told me. I'm almost 39 weeks now and it doesn't feel any easier to breath. Your dr will tell you when the baby has dropped. It could be tomorrow or it could be another few weeks. Congrats and Good Luck!

Well some babies will wait til the last minute to turn. And I felt queasy when my 1st one turned and when this one turned I was actually having contractions with it. But some women can't feel it at all. You can go to the doctor one week and the baby still be head up and then the next week in position... though that doesn't mean they will not move out of it. These little ones will move around til they just can't do it anymore. Good luck and Congrats!! 36 wks and 1 day today and finding out tomorrow if we will have to induce!!

Mine has been head down since 28 weeks. The doctor has been telling me at every appoinment. She said it is not worry until 36 weeks. If the baby is not head down then, they will try and turn it.

Your baby could turn anytime until he/she gets too big to do so. A lot of times you dont know they have turned until the doctor tells you. My baby was head up in an ultrasound and I was waiting so patiently to see her turn herself. Then I went to the doctor and she is head down. Don't know when it happened but it did. Good luck

My chum who's pregnant with twins only requested an same question. She stated it sounds like that's thoroughly bruised down there. The well being care specialist advised her that it became thoroughly ordinary and to sit in a warm bath. She stated it helped some yet no longer a lot.

It may or may not be. Some babies turn right before birth. The only way to tell is by ultrasound, or ask your doctor to check for you (they feel your belly).
Good luck!
