Yes, women have had their period while being pregnant. It's the other symptoms besides a missed period you would be looking or then.

If you are indeed pregnant, technically, you cannot get your periods. Missing your period is actually the first sign of pregnancy. Bleeding in early pregnancy is a common occurrence, but this does not signal a true menstrual cycle. You must realize that the hormones that are active during pregnancy totally prevent ovulation. Ovulation is the time in your cycle when the egg is released into the uterus and women experience menstrual bleeding. Since the egg in pregnant women is already fertilized, ovulation does not occur and hence no bleeding. But some women do experience it. If it becomes a problem, you might want to go see your DR to make sure everything is ok.

Its possible to still be pregnant even though you have had your period or are on it. Some woman get their periods for a couple months or less when pregnant. Go out and buy a pregnancy test and take it. Also, if the test shows two line and the second one is faint, its still a positive.

It is possible to be pregnant and still have your period. More than likely you are not though. If you start passing clots, bigger than a quarter then you may want to go get checked just to make sure. Other that that I wouldn't worry about it. You got lucky this time. If you aren't wanting to get pregnant then you need to use protection. If you are trying then, keep trying it will happen when the time is right

It's possible — but highly unlikely. You'd have to have a very short menstrual cycle, which is the time from the first day of one period to the first day of the next period, or a tendency to have long periods. This would bring the time of ovulation closer to the time when you would start bleeding.
