They can tell the head by feeling it, you can ask your midwife and she will show you how to feel it yourself... at this point the baby is still moving a lot and is not really in any position. This appointment they will measure and weigh you to check how you are growing and may do a test for diabetes.

At 25 weeks it's still early to check the baby's position since the baby is still small enough to move around a lot before getting into position to be born. Once you're in your 7th or 8th month then they'll start really checking to see if the baby is head down. They can tell by feeling where the baby's head is. Best of luck.

They give you an ultrasound to find the position. At this point in the pregnancy your baby will not be in any set position. Babies go all over the place at this time.

They should be able to give you an ultrasound to tell. That's how I know. Plus YOU should be able to tell by which direction he/she is kicking. My little boy is breach right now, and I'm 25 weeks as well He likes to kick my bladder and I knew he was breach before they even told me.

They can usually tell by feel. As you get further along in your pregnancy, you'll be able to tell as well. You'll always know where those feet are !!

THEY CAN USE ULTRASOUND OR SOMETIMES THEY CAN TELL BY WHERE THE BABYS HEARTBEAT IS FOUND. aLSO WHEN YOU GET FARTHER ALONG THEY CAN FEEL THE BABY BY PRESSING ON YOUR BELLY AND THEY ARE PRETTY GOOD ABOUT TELLING BODYPARTS!!
