Pregnancy - February 2007

Just took a test yesterday-positive, I think i'm roughly 6-7 wks. I started spotting just a little and have some cramps. I'd been do a very strenious excercise routine the past month and i had to take a painkiller for a kidney problem i have about week ago. I've had a misscarriage before so i'm alittle worried w/this one.

ok i haven't had sex for the past 2 months, i was on the pill a month before but when i got my period i took one active tablit from the pack and then decided to stop usin the pill. so that means last months (end of december) i got my period twice ( i no shouldn't have done that).

anyway now its into feb and i haven't got my period. is it because of the pill or could i be pregnant even though the last time i had sex i was on the pill and that was 2 months ago.

if i were 2 months pregnant would i be sick?

Ok first I want to say that Hubby and I WANT a baby!!! anyway my period was due yesterday and I have some slight cramping but no period, I have a slight achy back and alot of white Cm sorry if thats tmi.. I was just wondering if this is normal or if it could be a sign of pregnancy.. Has this happend to anyone before they found out they were pregnant?? I am going to buy a test later on tonight so I can take it in the morning but just wanted to know if anyone else has had this happen thanks so much!!

Tomorrow is my 1st Dr's appointment. What kind of paper/documents are they going to want? and I should bring? Also if and when they do an ultrasound to check the baby's heart, can I eat/drink before going for my ultrasound? I heard before theirs not suppose to be any food in the belly, to see the baby clear.

Hello! I've read countless blogs, info sites, and other users comments, but I wanted to ask for other people's opinions on what's happening to me. On days labelled 7 & 8 of my birth controlled cycle (which were really days 11 and 12 if you start counting from the first day of my last period) I had unprotected sex with my hubby...twice (what can I say, we're newly weds!). Following those days I took two pills for two days to make up for the pills I missed. My breasts were VERY sensitive and sore, I felt extremely nauseated, and had slight cramping in the abdomen. Browsed the internet like mad to see if that may mean pregnancy, but was not convinced. Yesterday I went to the bathroom and saw some light blood on the paper when I cleaned myself up. It's much lighter than my period bleeding is. Now it's one week before my period should start (I have one more pill to take and then I'm on my 7 days off the pill). Was that implant bleeding? So far none today...am I pregnant?

I'm 38 weeks and 5 days. I have been having contractions since friday they have been have been like 10 minutes apart. Yesterday i kept having this funny pain like she kept moving her head lower and lower and this morning my belly looks like i'm only 5 months pregnant. and i was having cramps all day along with loose bm's . and today my contractions are 5 minutes apart. they aren't extremely painful just a bit uncomfortable expecially if i try to walk. I'm not sure what to do my husband is working about and hour away, i'm not sure if i should go to the hospitol or not.

Hi there. I dont think I am pregnant but I was supposed to get my period on Jan- 23-06 and till today I haven't gotten it? wich is weird because I never end the month without not getting my period. But I do feel cramps just like as if I had my period? If you are a month pregnant do you still get cramps??

I started my period on the 10th of OCt and it ended on the 15th of Oct. I had sex with another guy on the 17th of oct but we used a condom.....i know that maybe i shouldn't be worried but i still am. I had sex with my boyfriend on the 19th and the 22 of oct the doc said i conceived on the 24th....which i know i didn't have sex that day. I don't know what to think. Hi. I'm 33 weeks pregnant with my 4th child. I'm feeling very much like I have morning sickness (I didn't have is this bad with my other pregnancies, nor at the begining of this one). I am extremely nausious(sp?) and I have terrible heart burn for some reason. I've not eaten anything today, I'm not really hungry, and I really don't want to eat as it will probablely come back up. Any sugestions out there on how to make this go away, orr persaps somethin I could eat that would help (OJ only makes it worse)? Thanks :)

was your morning sickness worse with your son or daughter or if u are currently pregnant with your first,is your morning sickness real bad and what r u having?with my daughter i couldnt keep anything down,with my son i only threw up a couple times and thats it,and with this one im 24/7 sick to my tummy but dont throw up,dont know what im havng yet...

My midwife came out for the 1st tie yesturday, she couldnt feel my uterus and she also couldnt hear the baby's heartbeat, she thinks im only around 7- 8 weeks pregnant. Although after taking the orning after pill last year ive had irregular periods and sometimes nothing at all for around 5 months, so im unsure when my last period was. Is it normal for this to happen?

Ok well some of u wouldve seen/answered the first question i ever asked....basically I have been married for 7 months but it is not going well at all. We have been trying for a baby since we married but I recently came to the decision to go back on the pill as it wouldnt be fair to bring a child into the World in an unhappy environment. The problem is....I have just found out I am pregnant. I have rang my hubby (he's at work) and he is ecstatic.
I just do not know what to do now. I do not want a termination. I feel very ashamed. This should be the happiest day of my life but instead I feel so confused. Please dont be sarcastic & critical or mean.....I would just really really like some helpful advice & would like to know what u would all do.

Last Monday, I started spotting, went to the Dr. and it stopped.
The doctor ordered an ultrasound the next day, wanted my cervix measured to make sure it wasn't thinning and I had an FFN (a test that checks for preterm labor). I wasn't spotting then.
The ultrasound showed the baby was okay and there was no internal bleeding.
My cervix looked normal and wasn't thinning or opening.
The FFN test said that I am not at risk for preterm labor.
The baby is moving as normal.
So why have I been spotting off and on since?
I'm not talking lots of blood. It's about a spot in the morning and then nothing else for hours or even a day.
I'm not sure what I should do.
I feel normal and the tests say I should I be okay.
Advice?

I am going crazy. The doctor says I'm dilated to 2cm and that my cervix is soft and ripe like a peach. what can i do to speed up the process of putting myself into labor? I tried castor oil like 3 weekd ago but i guess i wasn't ready because it didn't work. will it work now? what can i do, let me know.........

I had an epidural with my son because labour was slow and VERY painful. Once i had my epidural my contractions became more regular and things sped up as i was more relaxed. My total labour in hospital was 12 hours (although i had painful contractions 6 hours before getting to the hospital). My first midwife said it was likely that i would be able to have another epidural second time round (if i desperately need it!!) but my second midwife says that cos my first baby was big and this one is average that it is unlikely i will be able to get to the hospital in time as second labours tend to be a lot quicker.

I was wondering how many people have had epidurals with their first baby but not got to the hospital in time for subsequent labours???

By the way, some hospitals won't give epidurals if you are past 6 or 7 cm dilated, although this varies from hospital to hospital...

I have missed 2 periods and I have been regular since I started menstruating. Have alot of signs of pregnancy, sore breasts, nausea, gas, bloating, strange dreams, mood swings and I'm running to the bathroom every 2 hours. I took a hpt about 2 weeks ago, which was negative, and took a urine test at the doctor's 3 days ago. Could I be pregnant? Should I go back to the doctor and ask for a blood test? If I am not pregnant, can you think of anything that might me causing these symptoms?
