I was vegetarian throughout pregnancy and my baby was very fair and very round... Genes did play a part, though.

fruits and vegetables are good. get good recipes off of an healthy eating website most of them have sections just for pregnant woman, milk is good. just eat healthy foods and try and stay away from junk to avoid adding extra pounds you don't need. Also exercise, get the okay from your doctor you don't need anything heavy go for walks at a brisk pace, ride at moderate speed on a stationary bike, go for light jogs depending how far along you are, earlier to middle is good, just keep moving. Don't over eat. The saying your eating for two does not really mean that, you can eat the amount your normally eat but just on a healthier scale, have Fruit and toast for breakfast keep it light, have yogurt for morning snack ect. When I was pregnant i was worried because I did not have an apatite my doctor had said to me as long as I ate even a little for each meal it is was always nutritious I would be fine and I was I am lucky back to my Pre- pregnancy weight.so good portion control and good healthy nitrous meals and you will be fine good luck

There is no food that will change the colour of your baby's skin. Provided the baby is healthy, it should come out looking like that anyway.
Just try to eat a healthy, well balanced diet with lots of fruit and veg, which is good for the pregnancy. Other than that, check with your midwife or obstatrician

You need a balanced diet and should probably supplement it with vitamins that are rich in things that aren't easily found in many foods. You need folic acid, for example. You need a high level of calcium as the baby's bones develop - that means a diet rich in milk products. You need a high level of iron to help the baby's blood system develop and help you maintain your own - that means things like red meat, red peppers, etc. You should have a lot of vegetables and fruits - go easy on the useless foods like white potatoes, cake, high sugar cereals, etc. In short - eat healthy and your baby should do well.

It's sad that you're even thinking about what color the skin on your baby will be. That deals with genetics-if you were to have had sex with a fair-skinned man it doesn't mean you'd have a fair-skinned child.
If you are really interested in finding out how to have a healthy baby (which should be your primary concern, not its skin tone) consult your ob/gyn.

So you want a white fat plumper for a baby. Your name suggests that you may be dark skinned yourself. If this is correct then you will have a dark skinned baby. You can't eat anything that will change this.

Fruit and Veg.
Specifically oranges and pomegranites for the fruit and carrots and spuds for the veg....
Lots of water also....
(generally stay away from all the stuff we know is bad for us; salt, crisps, fried food, suger, fizzy pop, alcohol and tabacco)
Good luck, with this question that you pose I am sure that you wil have a healthy attitude to your pregnancy and a healthy child.

You cant make your baby fair skinned by what you eat. Skin color is determined by genetics only. Eat foods closest to their natural state and avoid junk food and processed food. Eat whole grains, veggies, fruit, legumes, nuts etc.
