Last Monday, I started spotting, went to the Dr. and it stopped.
The doctor ordered an ultrasound the next day, wanted my cervix measured to make sure it wasn't thinning and I had an FFN (a test that checks for preterm labor). I wasn't spotting then.
The ultrasound showed the baby was okay and there was no internal bleeding.
My cervix looked normal and wasn't thinning or opening.
The FFN test said that I am not at risk for preterm labor.
The baby is moving as normal.
So why have I been spotting off and on since?
I'm not talking lots of blood. It's about a spot in the morning and then nothing else for hours or even a day.
I'm not sure what I should do.
I feel normal and the tests say I should I be okay.
Advice?

Sometime spotting can be normal, but with pregnancy it is always good to be on the safe side. I would talk to your doctor again and if you are still aren't satisfied with with the answer, get a second opinion.

Make your doctor monitor the sitaution closely. An 'ok' today can turn into a tragedy tomorrow.I have heard a little bit of spotting is normal.I only ever did it once.Four kids.
