Yeah I'm pretty sure it's common. I had it during my pregnancy and also after. They will just get you to take iron tablets or eat more red meat or green leafy vegies such as spinach and broccoli etc.

Hi, from what I know, aneamia is fairly common during pregnancy. I suffered from it towards the latest stages. I had planned on a home birth and had to sort it out if I was to go ahead with that. I was given iron in a liquid form and asked to eat green leafy vegetables and meat everyday. It worked! if the aneamia is really bad you must be followed by your GP, midwife.

very common think about it you have a person growing inside you taking all the goodness from you.
you can increase your iron levels by eating foods rich in it i personally am a big fan of breakfast cereals seem to do the trick for me i didn't need to take iron supplements!!!

Very much so! The doctor will wait for you to get over any morning sickness that you may have/if you have (iron causes more nausea) and will for certain (seeing your blood reports) will prescribe an iron medication for you.
