I have missed 2 periods and I have been regular since I started menstruating. Have alot of signs of pregnancy, sore breasts, nausea, gas, bloating, strange dreams, mood swings and I'm running to the bathroom every 2 hours. I took a hpt about 2 weeks ago, which was negative, and took a urine test at the doctor's 3 days ago. Could I be pregnant? Should I go back to the doctor and ask for a blood test? If I am not pregnant, can you think of anything that might me causing these symptoms?

I am very fatigue also.. forgot to mention that and the fact that I'm having very sensitive gums lately. I wasn't even concerned about pregnancy up until a few weeks ago once all of these symptoms started to appear... thought missed period was just due to stress.

Go back to the doctor and ask for a blood test. I took three pregnancy tests over the course of two months and they all were negative. I went to the doctor to find out why I was so exhausted; she took a blood test which revealed that I was about 13 weeks pregnant! Find out ASAP because one of my biggest regrets is that I missed out on the first trimester of my pregnancy (ripped off!).

well those seem like a lot of signs of pregnancy girl, I would go back to the doc just to make sure, my sister had this problem, she took a few pregnancy tests.. first was negative, the last 3 were all positive, she took so many because she couldn't believe she was pregnant at the agile age of 16.. well she has a 5 month old now.. he is awesome.. if you are pregnant you have a lot to look forward to.. babies are awesome.. but on the other hand.. i don't know how old you are, or if you are in a stable relationship as my sister was.. but if you are not pregnant those symptoms could be from worrying that you ARE pregnant.. I suggest going back to doctor.. do all tests you can to make sure..

good luck to you.. hope everything turns out the way YOU want it to..

First, go back to your doctor and get the blood test as your mind is not going to rest until you know.
Chances are, if you were 11 weeks along, it would have shown up in at least one of the tests you have already done.

Are you more stressed than usual lately?
Stress can cause all kinds of wacky symptoms.... So can Thyroid problems, chronic fatigue..... the list goes on and on.

There really are a load of things that can cause the symptoms you are having, besides pregnancy.

Either way, you really need to go to the doctor and get him/her to give you a thorough check up as well as the test. Tell your doctor everything and make sure you don't miss a thing. Write down your symptoms on a list and hand it to your doctor if you need to.

Good luck with it.

well I'd advise you to go back and check with a different doctor for a 2nd opinion just in case. If the doctor confirmed that you are not pregnant, then it can be due to other reasons. Some other factors that I can think of that might be causing you those symptoms is because you probably just got off of birth control, have some sort of hormonal imbalance, stress, menopause, urinary infection, or nutrition imbalance. Rely on the doctor to help you find out.

I'm in the same situation...just waiting for another period. I am 22 days late for a period...numberous negative tests, and a negative blood test...sure would like to know what is going on. Go and get a blood test to rule out pregnancy. Sometimes the HCG isn't detectable on a urine test.

The one sign you seem to be missing is fatigue. In your first trimester, you should be sleeping perhaps 1-3 hours per day more than normal (my wife was even worse, normally 6-7 hours, she slept 12 hours every day from about week 10 to week 14).

Look, when you have a lifeform sapping your energy and making your body go through these changes, it's time for you to get to the doctor, sister.

YOU have the 9-month flue!
