I'm 18 weeks, almost 19 and since about 15/16 weeks I've started to feel the baby very little by little. NOw that I'm 18 weeks, it's no longer uncommon for me to feel the baby AT LEAST 5-10 times a day. It's starting to become normal and everytime I feel the baby, I become filled with joy. This little baby brightens up my day all the time! It's starting to become a part of life for me to feel my little one...is this how all pregnant women feel? I never knew pregnancy was this special!!! (this is my first)

I'm 27 weeks pregnant and we've started buying stuff for the baby, got quite allot of stuff now plus a friend had a baby girl 4 months ago and as I'm having a girl as well she gave me a load of stuff, 0-3 month clothes etc.

The buggy arrived yesterday and my partner unwrapped it and then last night his friend told him that you must never put up a buggy or buy things until the last minute, also we've picked a name which is also supposedly a bad thing to do.
We have started painting the nursery and the furniture is on order and should arrive in around 35 days but is this too soon?

How superstitious are you and when is it considered OK to start to buy things and put things up?

My doctor made me spend the day in the hospital yesterday because of my blood pressure and protien in my urine. Altough the test results came back negative, she is still sending me for weekly evaluations. Obviously, this is a serious issue if all that is neccesary. Has anyone else gone through this? if so, what happened? I am very nervous now.

I know I am asking a lot a pregnancy questions lately, but this is my first baby and I find my reassurance in answers from people who have been through this before. Ok, question....

I am 6 months pregnant and am absolutely terrified of giving birth. Is it normal to be this frightened when I have 3 months left to go?
My fiance is always reassuring me that it's going to be ok, but it still doesn't stop me thinking about it.
Did anyone else feel like this?

Okay, so I am 7 months pregnant with our (my husband and me) first baby.... my family and his family are really excited! But..... We have a dilemma going on about who gets to be in the room when I am delievering the baby. See, my mom and me are like siamese twins, best friends, like sisters and we are all we have ever had, its always been just us two. Then his mom and my mom are two different people, so they are "okay" with each other and to me she is just a typical mother in law, some days i like her some days i hate her. anyways, here is my question..... I have ALWAYS said i wanted only my mom and husband in the room while i am having the baby, I'm not real comfortable with a lot people looking at my "area" while a baby comes out! So, anyways, he says that if my mom gets to be in the room, then his mother should be able to go too, but i dont agree.... its my "junk" spread wide open and my mother! it should be who i am comfortable with. What should I do? let her too or just my hubby?

I am 34 weeks gone and have suddenly been getting what I think are anxiety attacks. My heart starts pouding and my breathing becomes shallow, I feel tearful and nervous but don't know why - they come at any time and I've never had anything like this before. My blood pressure has also gone up (only to a normal level - it's usually on the low side) is this normal?

Could I be pregnant?
I had uprotected sex on Jan.13th, the day my period started. Then on Feb.3, when I was ovulating, I had unprotected sex with my BF, but he did not, well you know. Now, I am having a stuff nose, lower abdominal twinges, lower back ache, itchy and dry skin, tired after sleeping 8 hours, spells of dizziness, and an increase in CM. Oh and yesterday, I completely lost it and had a crying fit out of nowhere. Is it possible I am pregnant? Any advice would help...and not mean advice.

Can any one suggest comfortable sleeping positions, or helpful ways to relax and peacefully fall asleep?

Please do not answer if all you have to suggest is body pillows, laying on your left side, lavender oil, or taking a bath. DUH! I am 7 months along & falling asleep takes me HOURS!

Is it normal that at just 27 weeks my nipples are sore and leaking small amounts of milk?

I have looked on different websites and have found many different opinions and was wondering if this is normal and if there is anyone else who has experience of this? I did not produce any milk until after I had had my baby during my first pregnancy, and I'm worried that this may be a sign that my baby could be premature. I have had a complicated pregnancy and I am slightly anemic, have placenta previa and a haematoma.

Thanks for your help in advance!

:-)

I startd taking a prenatel vitamin, but have been getting sick lately. The bottle says to take with a meal but I find I sometimes can't keep my meals down, so is it a waste to take them then? I took one last night before I whent to bed instead, is this okay? Do I have to take with meal? Can I take before bed instead? How long does it take to get into my system?

My g/f knows this girl who said she was raped and as a result had twins. This sounded believable to me but, being a skeptic, I had to question this. I know alot of girls that said they have been "raped" but this girl thrives off of the "system" and refuses to get a job because she will lose benefits if she does. She is taking courses at college and is nice but she is young enough ( 19-20) to where this so-called rape might be statutory and she is playing it for what it's worth.

What are your experiences with "welfare mothers"??
