I'm having baby # 5 and i still feel the same, OK so i find being pregnant harder than i did with my 1st
but every time my little fella moves or kicks i cant help but smile, it some how makes all the aches and pains seem so minor.
you wait till the 1st time you hold your bundle of joy & they look into your eyes its a feeling you NEVER forget

I am so with you! I've been feeling the baby since 19 weeks I'm now 22. I feel filled with joy every time I feel the baby kick. It puts a smile on my face throughout the day! Yesterday, in a "team meeting" at work the baby kept kicking and I nearly busted out in a joyous giggle. I didn't want the others to look at me funny so I just let out a huge smiled. Also, when I'm able, I respond to the baby when it kicks. From what I understand babies can hear at this stage so whenever I feel the kicks....I talk to it and say hello to the little one and tell it how much I love it. It's such a wonderful way of bonding with the baby! I feel the same as you do being filled with joy and having my day brightened each time my little one kicks. It's awesome!!!!!

Yes - you WANT to feel that baby moving around. Get in the habit of doing kick counts. You probably are not feeling the baby move aorund as much as it really is. That is normal - it is still very tiny. As you get farther along in your pregnancy, you will really want to pay attention to the kicking and report that to your dr. Movement eavery day is a very important thing. And you will notice that after things you eat, do, and times of day that the baby is more active. My son was active at night - comman as you are busy moving around yourself and don't notice it as much, and your walking is comforting and soothing to the baby so you could be rocking it to sleep! And after you have your baby - you will be so surprised at HOW MUCH you miss feeling that person in there. And if you get some flip-floping gas, it will bring a tear to your eye because it will remind you about how wonderful this event was. Congrats!

Yes! Until they stick their foot up under your ribs and you can't breathe :) It's amazing to feel what no one else can and to know that you are the one bringing a life into this world. I'm 25 weeks and this baby is VERY active, everytime I feel movement I know he/she is okay and it makes me smile. The bigger I get the more I remember my other pregnancies and I look at my daughters and think that I'm doing it all over again. It's the most wonderful and surreal feeling in the world. I'm very happy that you get the experience it. Congrats!

Yes...I really do think this is how all pregnant women feel. I was amazed when I first started feeling the baby move. I was in awe of the fact that this little person was growing inside me. Its the most amazing feeling in the world.

I don't know if all pregnant women felt that way, but I did during both of my pregnancies. That is, until they would literally feel like they were stuck in my ribs, the kicks were painful, or they decided to still try to move when there was no room left to move. Then it was uncomfortable, but still a wonderful feeling!

hhhmmm.. I felt totally detached and depressed with my pregnancy until I felt strong kicks. Now Im 25 weeks and the kicks are strong enough to be felt outside, Im beginning to bond with my baby much better than I did before. Not everyone develops a bond from the beginning and i was getting worried about that. Now I feel it developing and I must say, I feel so much better for it!

Oh, that's so wonderful.
Cherish these memories, that's the thing I miss most about being pregnant...I liked lying in the bath watching the water ripple after my daughter had kicked me hard enough to make it happen too :)
