I am 13wks pregnant and was wondering at what stage can i find out the sex of my baby? You wouldnt believe i have two children already lol but you know how they say pregnancy effects your memory!!

My doctor told me from 16 weeks on. We could only see the sex of the baby at 19 weeks, and the baby needs to be in the right position. There is lot´s of people who do not find out the sex of their baby until it´s born because the baby never lies in the right position....
Ultrasound is probably the most common method of finding out the sex of your baby. This is generally done during the 16 - 28 week range. If your practitioner schedules an ultrasound for this point on a routine basis your insurance may or may not cover this charge. Sometimes you will have to schedule an ultrasound specifically to find out your baby's sex.

Sometimes you can tell as early as 16 weeks, but I'm 24 almost 25 and this baby just won't show. Depends on the doctor and the mainly on the baby! Most doctors will look around 18-20 weeks for your midpoint ultrasound to check growth and so on. Congrats to you and yours!

The doctors can usually tell at your 18 - 20 week scan. Sometimes the baby can be lying in a position which makes it impossible to tell though, so you might have to wait until later on! Be aware though, it's not always 100%, my friend got told she was having a little girl, went mad on pink, but thankfully left the nursery neutral, as she actually turned out to be a he!

The hospital will scan you at 20 weeks to find out what sex it is and also to find out everything is OK. But you can find out at 16 weeks, Ive opt for a 3D scan in Manchester and i cant wait to go.

around 16 weeks some times later like 20 weeks i am pregnant with my third cannot wait to find out the sex

lol. its 4-5 months when u can tell the gender of the baby. usually if the baby kicks early that means its a boy. like at 4 months. but that's just a say ;)

hia in uk drs will tell u the sex of ur baby between 18-20 weeks but in india & some other asian countries some drs will tell the sex of the baby a bit earlier( ofcourse taking some money) so that if its a girl parents can abort it.

you can ask at your 20 week scan to sex the baby but some times depending on the position of baby they may not be able to see.

It's usually about 20 weeks when they can determine the sex of the baby with and ultrasound. It might be sooner on a 3D/4D ultrasound.
