I am 3 days late today. My breast are extremely sensitive and sore, to the point where i have to take off my bra and even my shirt sometimes. My breast has never been this sore before. The even look like they've go bigger. And that is something i definitely don't want. I am already at 40 DDD. Can somebody please explain to me what is going on.

If you do not chart or monitor your fertility in any way, and you think you may have conceived, you should wait 19 days (or longer) after having sex to test. Why 19?! Sperm can live approximately 5 days in the proper environment; if the sperm managed to live until you popped an egg, the actual conception could have taken place several days after the sex act that got the sperm there. To make sure you're not testing too early, assume the sperm had very long lives (5 days is considered a very long sperm life) and that conception occurred then. Then allow 14 days for the embryo to implant and develop enough hCG to show up on a pregnancy test (96% of pregnant women will test positive by then.)

Hurry up and go get a test. A lot of tests can be taken 4-5 days before you are even due for your period. It does seem that your body is going through some hormonal changes. Bigger boobs is always my first sign that I'm pregnant! Good Luck!

take one today but save a another test for about 3 days later just in case its negative. sometimes my boobs got sore and looked bigger right before my period though. If the second test says negative wait 5 days and if your period doesn't come down by then, get a blood test.

Today would be a good time to test. You could be just late on your period and this can cause your breast to become sore. Hormones work in crazy ways. Good luck.

could it be you're over sensitive and think you're pregnant? sometimes the brain can work wonders in working up your body...
a home pregnancy test may not be conclusive as you're still a little early.... the best results are when you're 2 weeks late (6 weeks after consumnation)... if you want to prove it as early as now... the recommended solution would be for you to go to the doctor and get your blood check. that would give you conclusive & rapid results.

You can take a pregnancy test today. If it says negative wait 2 or 3 days and test again. If it's still negative and no period call your obgyn and have a blood test done.

if you are 3 days late, you are safe to take a home pregnancy test. if it neg i would contact your doctor to find out whats wrong. you could be having a hormonal imbalance

you can try today, but most tests are better using the first pee of the morning so you might want to get a 2-pack and try tomorrow if today is negative

its not too soon to test, you've already missed your period. sore boobs was my first sign for both my pregnancies.
