Pregnancy - January 2007

I have 3 children and never had an ultrasound before the 4th month. Everyone on here says they had them in the first few weeks. Did you request an ultrasound? It has been 6 years since my last child. Are they just routine at your first visit now?

my last period was on dec 4. i uesed the con. calendar, in order for me to get pregneant i would have eto have sex around the 18th of dec. i am suppose to get my period on the first, i still have not gotten it , all i have gotten is lower back pain and tender breast

I know I am overly tired because I am pregnant but it is starting to effect my job, I can barely wake up for work in the morning and I've been late the last couple weeks. Any suggestions for helping me have more energy or not be as tired?

Me and my girl recently had some issues and we split up for 3 months.recently we got back together and all the sudden she is pregnant.she is due late april early part of may.I thought a woman carried for 10 months rather than 9
is there any truth to this? also if she is due late april early may when would she have conceived? We got back together late july.any help would be greatly appriciated .

She woke up at 1:00 AM with contractions, has had them for over 8 hours, and they are way stronger then they usually are. She is 35 weeks pregnant. We called the Dr. who told her to wait and see if we get to every 5 minutes for 1 minute long contractions. She is feeling them in her back, has been moving around, and took a bath, but they are still there. Is this real labor, and if not can Braxton Hicks last for 8 hours consistently?

Yesterday was my first day back to work after being off work for a week. I was tired but laid down for about 30 mins to rest and then all of the sudden I got this HUGE burst of energy and went to the grocery store (by myself, not usual) and came home with two bags of groceries (carried in my myself, not usual either) and cooked dinner, then I made my lunch for my husband and I for today and then I made a cake!! The last hour or so I started getting terrible lower back paint that wraps around the front of my abdomen (kinda like menstrual cramsp), I'm 38 weeks pregnant and 3 cm dilated, my doc said I'm effaced but don't know how much, baby has dropped and is jammed down there(for about a month now). Welp, this morning still woke with same symptoms, and with a sensation to go poop. When I get up and walk around I feel like my uterus is going to fall out (lol). Last night, I even took some Tylenol because I thought maybe I just had a sore back. Should I wait? No water break, no blood.

I started loosing what I THINK is my mucus plug lastnight (this is my second pregnancy).. I go though a period where I loose this bloody thing, and then I'm fine, then I loose what looks to the same thing, AGAIN a couple hours later.. It's quite a bit of fusiah/pink blood, that turns to brown, mixed with a yellow goo of sorts. I've been having pains in my back and lower belly- however, it doesn't get stronger. Also, when the baby moves I experience a LOT of pain "DOWN THERE (I assume this is pressure)." I didn't go though this with my son. I also just got out of the hospital (After being there 2 months) for pre-term labor- but I'm now 37 weeks. I've had 2 doese of steriods, and been on mag twice.. Just a little paranoid... Help?

i am 13 weeks where would i begin to "feel" it, the book i have says it is the size of a peach and its just above my pelvic bone, well i can't feel it, have you been able to?? and how do i know? thanks sorry i just get nervous when i cant do things the book says i should.

I just recently found out I was pregnat by taking a hpt test. I am expectin my period on Jan 6. I have cramps that feel like period cramps. Is that normal. I dont go see the doctor till the 10 he wanted to wait till i missed my period before the appointment. Just curious if it was normal to have period like cramps in early pregnacy.

misscarried, I am two months along. What kind of test do they do when you get there, could I request a ultrasound first before any of the test, and a couple of weeks ago there was this pink-skin like tissue floating in my toilet the thing is it only happend once, and I have had no bleeding at, sometimes mild cramps.Whats wrong with me! Hey guys
I was spotting 2 times(brownish) after my last month period that ended on Dec 16th. I thought that was weird as that never happen before and more weird because i am on the pill and never missed any that i know of. My period is a week away for this month but decided to do a pregnancy test this morning anyway knowing it might be to early. I took a shower and looked at the test afterwards and there was an extremely faint light positive line.I think it was before 10 min I do have unprotected sex with my husband but i am kinda shock cos i am on the pill. which test is the best out there i think i used accuclear, but maybe u know of really good test.Thanks for the advise i appreciate it and happy new years to all.

is it normal to slightly lose bladder control when pregnant?
this morning, just before i got a chance to go number 1, standing in the bathroom running a brush through my hair, i all of a sudden sneezed, (which i also do about 15-20 times a freekin day since being pregnant!) and a little bit came out.. gross! i was so annoyed cause i was already dressed! luckily i was wearing a skirt, so i cleaned up myself and was able to just change my underwear and head to work.
is the loss of bladder control and the sneezing normal?
please advise.. i know its not the most pleasant, but i need to know if other women have experienced this.

This is my 4th pregnancy (so I should know) but this time its different. I lost my mucous plug on Sat and I have been having lower back pain and period like cramps with the od braxton hicks type contractions. I am seeing the doctor first thing in the morning. I am only 34 weeks but at my 30 week ultrasound baby measured 2 weeks bigger. I have also had a few problems during this pregnancy with chicken pox and liver issues. With my 3 other pregnancies I have gone into labour with full on contractions every few minutes but full term. Just wanted to hear from people that have experienced similar, could I be in early labour? (or just hoping)

With my 1st child, people found out really early as I ended up in hospital with extreme sickness and dehydration.
