Thats an old wives' tale and has no basis in scientific fact or proof.

I felt terribly sick when carrying my son!

You'll always get someone who'll say they were sick with a girl and not with a boy but lets face it, whether you feel sick or not there's 50% chance that it will fit in with the old wives' tale!

Every pregnancy is different - some women don't get any morning sickness, others get it terribly. It has nothing to do with your health or what sex the baby is. Although is it thought that someone who is very sick has less chance of miscarraige as the pregnancy hormones are obviously at a high level.

I have 2 boys and a girl. I was only sick 2 weeks with my boys and with my girl I was sick for 6 months it was terrible. I don't know if that had anything to do with the sex but it was different.

thats like the old tale..ball for boy all over for girl.. its not true.
i didnt gain no weight untill my 8th month
i was sick from my second month untill my seventh month...deathly ill had to get ivs twice a week becouse i couldnt keep anything down not even water.that was all day sickness
i think i was closer to death at that time then ever.
my baby was born a month early and was healthy at 6p3oz
the drs all said more active the baby the sickness you will feel and it depends on the mother is.remember it is like sea-sickness and motion sickness
if you guessed my baby was a boy you were right hes 5 now and i will never do it again if i can help it labor was fine sickness was unforgetable to this day if i get the flu it scares me to death. it was that bad......

I had NO morning sickness AT ALL, so my mom decided I was having a boy.
I also had very little heartburn which suggested that my baby had no hair.
I was told my bump looked like a 'boy' bump.

I had a girl who was anything but bald.
Remember that every pregnancy is reacted to differently.
It's fun trying to guess the sex with all the old wives tales, but there is a 50% chance they will be right anyway.

I had 3 boys and was very very sick with all of them up until I was 16 weeks. But I rarley threw up. Just was nauseated, threw up sometimes, and was very weak and felt like I couldnt get up at times. Now Im pregnant with my first daughter and I started to get sick at 7 weeks and I threw up everyday until I was 18 weeks. I had to get meds from the dr and those didnt even help. I stayed sick with her until I was around 22 weeks pregnant. So I can say I was super sick with all 4 of my babys, but I threw up alot more and it lasted longer with my girl.

I have one son and three daughters. I was sick from day 1 until I delivered with my son and never had a moment of morning sickness with my three daughters. Apparently it is not the sex of the child you are carrying that causes morning sickness but hormones out of balance.

Well.

I felt ill with my two boys.
But NO sickness at all with the girls!!

So I was the opposite!
We found the people carrying girls craved sweet and sour things(fruit, sweets) For the boys craving savoury food and snacks like crisps!

From my own experience in being pregnant three times, I got more sickness when I carried my son than my two daughters.
