My dating scan appointment has come through but its not til i'm nearly 15 weeks? Will this be ok?

Too late for what ???
I never got mines till i was 15 weeks....... it's a great picture... better than if it was earlier in the pregnancy.
Don't fret......you'll be over the moon when you see it.

Well we don't know how far along you are now?
Usually they are done sooner because the earlier you are the more accurate they are.
It will be fine either way. If its pretty far off then this could mean that the office is busy so I would try to go ahead and schedule a gender scan. These are usually done around 20 weeks. You may get lucky and be able to tell at the 15 week scan (I got to see at 16 weeks)

It should be fine - it's usually at or around 12 weeks, so 15 isn't too far away. When I had my scan for my 2nd I thought she was due at the beginning of December, only to be told that she was in fact due 5th November! She arrived on 12th. It's always good to be reassured by the little figure kicking and wriggling and in my case, it meant I was nearly 4 weeks further on than I thought I was! Best of luck.

dont panic here in the uk we have our dating scans around 12-16 weeks so you will be just fine

dating scan = a scan that you have to check your dates and how many babies there are.
then there is a 20 week abnormality scan which checks for problems and abnormalities

It does seem a little late, usually dating scans are done around 10 weeks simply because it is more accurate at this early stage.
However it varies from hospital to hospital, if you are anxious phone them and ask for an earlier one, most will be willing to help.

My scan is on the 12th january and i will be 15 weeks too. Im unsure but the midwife said they wont scan until your 12 weeks i thourght it was quite late too.

I went for mine this morning and i am 14 weeks - i thought the wait was long as well but the time flies.

i didnt have my first scan til i was 16 weeks preg but if ur worried about your baby ask if they can move it forward.
