Just relax for a few minutes. Most women go on to have healthy pregnancies and babies after a miscarriage - so try not to worry.

When you see the doc, talk to him/her about your concerns. Mention the m/c ( when, how far along etc). Most likely, they will do an ultrasound for you and you should be able to hear the heartbeat by 8 weeks.

BTW, mild cramps are perfectly normal early on in the pregnancy. So try not to worry :)

Good luck!

Welcome to pregnancy and nothing I can tell you will make the worry go away you will worry like this for nine months. They will probably give you an ultrasound to start they like to see what they are dealing with up front as much as you. A little discharge in the toilet is probably caused by your cervix being so engorged with blood it may spontaneously bleed occasionally. At too months women describe miscarriages as extremely heavy periods so a little blood isn't a concern. I know because I had a little blood at 2 months with my first baby and the next day was at the library reading up to see if I miscarried. The cramps are just your ligaments stretching to allow your abdomen to stretch around the ever bigger baby. As for the doctor they will test you for lots of things and draw lot's of blood throughout this pregnancy. They will probably know far in advance if something is wrong but try to remember that the vast majority of pregnancies go off without a hitch. You sound perfectly normal to me and the Doc will hopefully agree. Don't forget the library if you have questions in between doctor's visits sometimes it helps to have a resource that you can read and absorb at your own pace and when you have a question which will not be the case with your OB/GYN.

Try not to worry honey....chances are that everything is fine! If you haven't had a bleed or MAJOR cramps, then it is unlikely you have miscarried or are about to. Light cramping is normal and is caused by the stretching of the uterus, so nothing wrong there. Not sure what the pink tissue thing is about...? Just try to relax and hope for the best.
If it is your first actual appointment, then they will probably schedule an ultrasound, and you'll have your tummy felt to see how high your uterus is, you will be weighed, blood pressure will be taken, urine sample acquired, and maybe a blood sample taken. They may also listen for a heartbeat. They may also want to do a vaginal exam...so nothing too scary!

Good luck and congrats on your pregnancy!!

you will be ok, they are going to listen for the heartbeat, you are two months so they may not be able to hear it yet, if they can't DON'T freak out, just tell them your fears and see if they will do an ultrasound to ease your mind. i am sure everything is fine. they will check everything to make sure of it, they will do a pap. draw blood, urine sample. things like that so if something is wrong, which i dont think it is, they will be able to tell you. good luck and enjoy being pregnant, dont let your fears cause you to miss out! :)
