don't waste your time and money on hpt's they are not 100% accurate, for peace of mind/a definite answer see your doctor - he can give u a bloodtest which is way more accurate.
best of luck to you

Get one of the First Response early results test. Take it first thing in the morning and make sure you time it. If still you have a faint line I would consider that a positive. A line is a line, which means positive.
Your first test *could* have been an evaporation line, but if you think it was within the allotted time then I would not be shocked if the next test was the same.

This is the best site to find out which pregnancy test to use. It shows you which tests detects the hcg pregnancy horomone the earliest.
http://www.pinelandpress.com/faq/hpt.html
I like the CVS Stick test - it detects the hcg level as low as 25. Be sure when your picking up your test at a store that you check to make sure you have the right test. At CVS there are actually 2 different tests and one detects the horomone earlier than the other which means you could possibly get one false and one positive with the two different tests.
Good Luck

This does sound strange, the best thing to do is get another test and see the outcome, if you're still not sure go get a test done at a clinic. It is still possible to get your period if you are pregnant. I was also on the pill and it happened to me too. I hope things work out for you! And happy new year to you to!

I got pregnant twice on the pill....no surprise!
all are relatively good, they all use the same things, you should just wait a few days and test again. Try the early ones, like first response, but the same thing happened and i just used a cheap one from the dollar store, really faint line. I miscarried 4 days later though.

Even a faint positive line is a positive line. Sounds like you are pregnant. If you arent convinced do one of those early detection tests, not sure hwat brand they are but a pharmacist can tell you, and stop taking you bc pills. Congrats, hope this is happy news.

my line was really faint and I was on the pill. I now have two beautiful children. The pill is obviously not 100%, and I would go and get a blood test from your GP. good luck either way

contact your doctor. Remember you still can get pregnant with the pill. The pill in not 100% baby free and everyone will tell you so.
You could also be getting a false positive on the test.
But always ask your doctor for these questions...that is why you hired him to be your doctor.

stop taking the pill ASAP and call your OB you are pregnant, a line is a line no matter how dark or light, it could be super light cause you are still early, but either way consult your doctor and stop taking those pills!
congrats!
