When you first found out, was it through an ultrasound? How far along were you? Was it the very first ultrasound they took? Or was it though the heartbeat doppler?

Ok, I am 38 weeks preggo. About 2-3 weeks ago i was 1 cm dialated and 80% effaced, and at a -1 station. The last couple of days i have been having bad cramping, like really bad period cramps. They are not timeable, they just come and go. I have also had all loose stools. The baby seems like its not moving a lot either. Could this mean labor? Should i call a doctor?

I have been stressed out about school,and work,and family and stuff so Am I pregnant or is it just stress? some other symtoms ive been having is nausea, stomach pains, cramps with NO period, headaches, and mood swings. i kno that with all these symtoms i should go see a doctor but im only 17 and my mom had me when i was 17! im not saying that if i am i dont wanna to have the baby i would like having a baby.if it didnt hurt so much.ouch.but its just so scary at my age right now. i should be focusing on graduating and going to college and stuff. And i dont believe in the Big A. so could someone please help me and give me some detailed advice to what i should do.please??? im freaking out here!!!

2-3 cm 39 weeks membranes stripped yesterday. i was feeling light period cramps yesterday and today they are getting stronger but i can still handle them. i do have pain in my back more and when i walk it feels like my back is about to fall off my shoulders. this is my second pregnancy and totally diff from the first one... how many cm do you have to be for them just to keep you there? and how fast do you dilate? if i just was seen by my doct yesterday would it be a waste of time to go in today for about 45 min - and hour and get checked to see if i dilated anymore?

yesterday at 2pm i was 2-3 cm and over 65% also my doct stripped my membranes so i have been cramping from that as well. lots of pain in my back then my stomach tho. could i have dilated some more since yesterday? how fast does it take for you to dilate?

I am now three months pregnant and still have not heard my baby heart beat or had an ultra sound done yet. When I had my last ob app. I asked about an ultra sound and she said that it was to early and that they don't do their ultra sounds until 18 weeks through the pregnancy. I was about 11 weeks, she told me that I might not be able to hear anyhing yet. I don't understand why I have to wait this long cause I read on the computer that some people get ultra sounds as early as 6 weeks pregnan t and hear the heart beat.

I've heard that BC pills will make u feel as if u are pregnant and I get like this but I've never missed my period. I never started my period and I'm never late or anything. I've been feeling sick, throwing-up like but I never throw up but I feel as if I have to. The week before I was supposed to start my period I had a little bit of brown blood looking stuff that only lasted 3 days but then went away. My body feels weak and I just want to sleep and it feels kinda like I have the flu. I'm on BC and have been for 8 years but I'm just wondering if anyone else has had anything like this. Thank you sooo much in advance.

Everyone has told me that they should start checking around 36 weeks but I have'nt had a internal exam since week 9! I really want to know my progress especially since I've lost some of my plug and have been having strong contractions on and off for a few days. This is my first baby so I have NO Idea what to expect!. Help!!!!

How much did the hospital charge you (or your insurance company) for the birth. I had a c-section and both baby and me were in the hospital 4 days. There were no other complications (besides c-section) and the total cost was $19,515. Is this about average?

I went to the doc today, I told him that contractions were about 15 min. apart... That they were coming also from my back to under my ribs... he checked and I am a little morre than a two dilated... I am hurting constantly though in my uterus area( that's all I can think of to explain it)... it hurts to even sit... the baby feels like he might pop out.
The doc said that he didn't think I would mnake it to my next appointment, but maybe.

Yes I made a mistake because I'm human. I thought the guy I dated (18 years old) loved me. My dad is strict and dominant and my mom is submissive and weak. How do I tell them I'm pregnant? My friend bought me a pregnancy test and it turned out positive 2 times. And I also have nausea. I don't have any prenatal care yet. If I do tell my parents I'm pregnant, I'm fearful of my dad that he will kick me out of the house and that my mom will support his decision. Because he has kicked my older sister out (long story) before and my mom did nothing about it. I don't know where my sister lives and I don't have her contact address, if I knew I would go live with her because she is a kind person.
I don't have any money and I'm stuck in an unloving negative home.

I have a one year old son, so i know what to expect, and i know what im getting myself into. I just dont remember feeling like this when I was pregnant with him. My boobs are sore to touch, and i feel like im goin to puke at the smell of some foods. Im very moody. Im also very tired. My breasts never hurt and know they hurt to touch and so do my nipples. And i dont just feel like im goin to get sick in the mornings but anytime i think about certain foods or cooks something. I was like this with my 1 year old.

Okay! Ive just found out like not to long ago that I was 28wks pregnant on the 18th of Dec. so those that mean I got pregnagt on the 11th of June???? I mean my due date is on the 11th of March and thats like 9 months right? Well the deal is i've slept with an A and a B that month the A on the 11th and the B on the 14th and 17th of the month of June. I'm soo confused and dont know whos the father. My heart mind body and soul is saying the A b/c time matches up perfectly can you please HELPPPPP!!! besides B isnt all that hot if you kno wat i mean but on teh other hand A is everything B's not. So the results are........
