here's the deal my doctor is a great doctor but he has a horrid bedside mannor and is very opionated I feel a pregnant woman (ME) is very vulnerable to this and I am rather nervous about my appointment tomorrow as he may cause me to act a fool if he is mean he has been my doc for about eight years and I will be in my fourth month of pregnancy so I will probably have difficulty finding a new one (I have one in mind) should I change if tomorrow dosen't go well or deal with it?

I have missed 2 periods and should be due my next period in 2 weeks i have done pregnancy test each week every morning and comeback positive, ive been to my doctor and she sent a sample away but its the hanging on to see if i am or not. Could it be something else if im not pregnant?

My gf and i have been going out for more than a year, we just started having sex, she is on the pill and takes it religiously we also use condoms everytime, buy lately she has been having stomach pains right after she eats, its been going on now for about 2 weeks. She went to the MD. and he asked her to take a pregnancy test...what are the chances that it will come back positive??

I am being induced tomorrow since I am past my due date. The doctor said they were most likely going to use a catheter to stimulate the cervix to contract and then use pitocin...

If you were induced, how did they do it and how did it go? How long were you in labor?

Dear Doctor,

I wish to apply for an operation to make me sterile. My reasons are numerous and after being married for seven years, and having a child each year, I have come to the conclusion that contraceptives are absolutely useless.

After getting married I was told to use the "Rhythm Method." Whilst trying the samba and the tango my wife fell pregnant, and I ruptured myself doing the Cha-cha.

My doctor then suggested we use the safe period. At this time we were living with the in-laws and we had to wait three weeks for a safe period, when the house was empty. Needless to say this didn't work.

A lady of several years experience informed us that if we made love while breast-feeding we would be alright. It's hardly tastes like Coors, but I finished up with clear skin, silky hair and another child on the way.

Another old wives tale was if my wife jumped up and down after sex this would prevent pregnancy. After breast-feeding (from earlier), if my wife jumped up and down she would have ended up with two black eyes, and even knocked herself unconscious.

I asked a chemist about the condom. He demonstrated how easy it was to use so I bought a packet. My wife fell pregnant again, which doesn't surprise me, as I fail to see how a Durex stretched over the thumb can prevent a baby.

My wife was then supplied with the coil and after many unsuccessful attempts to fit it we realized that we had got a left-handed thread and my wife is definitely a right-handed screw.

The Dutch cap came next. We were very hopeful of this as it did not interfere with our sex life at all. But alas...it did give my wife a severe headache. We were given the largest size, but it was still too tight across her forehead.

Finally we tried the pill. At first it kept falling out, then we realised we were doing it wrong. My wife started then to put it between her knees, thus preventing me from getting anywhere near her. This did work for a while until the night she forgot it....another child resulted.

You must appreciate my problem: if this operation is unsuccessful I shall have to revert to oral sex. Although I don't mind just talking about it, it could never be the same as the real thing.

I am 20 weeks pregnant and have a cold. I have been sneezing like crazy! I can deal with all that. BUT A little while ago, when I was standing up I sneezed and peed my pants! I know this is normal during pregnacy, but I am a waitress and have to work tommorow night. Other than keigels (sp?) is there anything else I can do?

I am 12 and my 18 year old brother is having a baby with his girlfriend. The baby will arrive sometime in February 2007. I am very excited about it. The most exciting part is that the baby will be born in my own house!! I want to know if there are anyways that I can help while the mother is going through labor. I have never seen a baby being born. This will be my first time. Any tips?

I am 14 weeks pregnant and my ultrasound/tech said that my baby weighs in at a grand size of 3 ounces. Everything that I have read suggests that my baby at this gestational age should weigh between 1 and 1.5 ounces. Is it possible that I am having a big baby? I don't want to look like an over zealous mom-to-be and call the doctor over this....Anyone have the same situation or even know something? I have actually lost weight so far in this pregnancy.

as far as age gap, mother's body, etc...
I wanted the kids to be about 2 years apart... but that would mean I would have to have had a baby ...now.
So, if we were to get pregnant NOW, our son would be about 3 when the baby arrived. BUT- hubby wants a bigger age gap...
So- what is ideal? Him and his brother were 18 months apart. And he says they were very competitive and didn't get along at all. My sister and I were 4 years apart, and got along mostly up until I started puberty... So... Does it just depend on the kids whether or not they get along? or is it really better to be closer in age?

I am 35 weeks pregnant and extremely itchy. It's not just my stomach but all over. It started about a week ago and it is extremely uncomfortable. I feel like I have poison ivy or chicken pox but I don't have any red spots or rashes. No matter how much I moisturize, the itchiness will not go away. Has anyone ever experience this? Is this a pregnancy symptom?

I had a period on November 28th and I was SURE I was pregnant because I was feeling sick, hungry, very sleepy, having hot flashes and some other stuff too. Well I spotted once on day 27 of my normal 29 day cycle and then I started what I was assuming was my period on day 28 and it lasted for 6 days. My symptoms seemed to go away for the most part after that too.

Well, this past Thursday I woke up with a very small fever, right around 99.3. And it felt JUST LIKE the flu. I had to lay down all day or I would feel really sick and dizzy. The next day all of my symptoms were gone, except that I have had a HUGE loss of appetite, if I smell a lot of foods I feel really sick, I pretty much have to force myself to eat and when I do eat it makes me feel sick and I feel slightly sick all day every day since. This has been going on for 4 days.

Is it possible that I could be pregnant? Has anyone experienced this before? I just want your opinion please. Thanks!!! :-)
